I wouldn’t recommend for a beginner. This particular miniature had so many pieces to it. I would definitely try a couple other ones first before diving into this product. While I found it very hard it was so much fun to put together. It kept me busy for several weeks. Last please make sure you watch a couple of YouTube videos on how this goes together. There are a lot of good tips that helped me significantly through my process.

This was a great mini kit, but may be my most challenging so far. There are many parts and a couple pieces were missing. The kit is very detailed which makes for a beautiful completed project. Have your own tools and glue.

I loved my first RoLife kit I put together- the adorable coffee shop. I then ordered the Pet Shop and upon opening it, saw how the quality was *completely* different from my first kit. I returned, thinking it was just that kit, and ordered Emily’s Flower Shop. This kit is also poorer quality than my first coffee shop kit. The coffee shop kit had perforated edges on the paper sheets, grooves for the wooden pieces to snap together easily, no painting required, and good quality glue. This third kit is way more on the builder (me!) and may really test my patience instead of being a fun hobby to do. Nothing is properly labeled, pieces are cheap, paper is cheap, and the glue that came with the kit is awful. So disappointed.

I have created a few of these miniature buildings by now and every time I learn something new. It really does get easier. It's good to have a few items on hand. Sometimes the tools are not included, it's good to have a measuring stick in cm instead of inches. Needle nose tweezers are a wonderful tool to have, as is a good glue. I love silicone glue, it dries fast and clear. The project is a lot of fun. It always amazes me to see what can be created out of paper and some beads. I love figuring the instructions out (which isn't always easy) and creating all the tiny accessories. If you like miniatures you will love putting this together, it is very rewarding. Just have patience :)

Anything attaching to wire didn't work for me. In both kits I've done they didn't send fabric wire for stems just plain green wire and paper just doesn't stick to that. I'm not finished yet and I will get this done but it will be without some pieces.
