I like many products from this brand so I decided to try this wipes. I tend to be very sensitive to strong fragrances and although these have a strong fragrance, it is pleasant to me. It smells like sweet oranges maybe with some vanilla or something. I don’t know if they do anything in terms of exfoliation, but I like the smell and they remove the make up so I will keep using them. They are moist and I haven’t had issues with them drying out too fast and they do a good job removing make up but I don’t have any “waterproof” make up at this moment so I haven’t tested it on that specific type of make up but for regular foundation, shadow and liner works good! ... show more

I am giving a 4 star because they should not be called makeup removers. I have used Huggies cocoa butter and Shea baby wipes to remove makeup for years and they take off every speck. I was looking for more of a face product when I came across Pacifica wipes expecting they would remove all makeup. They do not. However I will purchase again because although they are not efficient in removing makeup they are a great refresher wipe. I will be using before I apply makeup after wash and continue to look for a more efficient makeup wipe. I love Pacifica. The smell is pleasant and will wake you up! ... show more

These smell like straight-up Orange juice.. for me, it's too much for a face wipe. With these, I struggle to get my eye makeup of; I have to be quite forceful to get my mascara off. Unfortunately, Im unsatisfied with the product.

I have used other Pacifica Beauty products with success. I trust their clean ingredients. These wipes do have a light citrus fragrance with a hint of vanilla and are pleasant to use. The generous size of the wipe is really effective in makeup removal. I do not use them on my eye makeup, however, choosing to use a specific product for that purpose. I have sensitive skin and have not experienced much if any burning sensation from the glycolic acid in the wipe. In the past I have purchased an expensive glycolic acid cream from a dermatologist to reduce dark spots and wrinkles. You could feel the burn in that cream, but it was extremely temporary--and you expect it to feel that way. If you use a product with glycolic acid in it, you should be aware that its purpose is to smooth the skin, hydrate, retexturize, promote skin renewal, improve elasticity, luminosity and reduce wrinkles. I love these wipes-- and for the fragrance, effectiveness, and cost, I just haven't found any other that compare. ... show more
