Overall, this bed frame is well designed. Assembly was time-consuming, but not difficult; directions were good. The one issue I had was the insufficient number of support slats. I paired this frame with the Avenco 12" Hybrid queen mattress (also from Amazon). When I read the documents that came with the Avenco mattress, it said: "As long as the gap between each slat is no more than three inches, a slatted base will work." Well, the gap between slats on the Rolanstar bed frame is 4-1/2". I went to Home Depot and purchased enough wood to make ten additional slats. After installing them, the gaps between slats is now only 1-1/2" (see photo: the right side is how the slats were originally, the left side shows the additional slats in place). I don't know if all mattress manufacturers have the same recommendations but if you're not able to do the modification yourself (add additional slats), then you should just be aware of their guidelines. I also wish it had been a Prime item, $100 shipping!

The ease at which the assembly helped the job get done so much faster than anticipated. The headrest is beautiful and, of course, with the LED lights and the charging station, how could you go wrong? We purchased 2 beds for our granddaughters. The rooms had loft beds in them to begin with, but with them growing and our house being a bit low posted for growing girls, we decided to make a change and we are all thrilled. They are so happy to have their own rooms and because they wanted their own rooms, they adjusted immediately. All of the instructions were easy to follow and these beds went together nicely. If you need twin beds for guests for kids, I would definitely say purchase these. You get a lot of bang for your buck.

Thought this come with a remote for led lights but it didn't. Daughter still loves it. She's not old enough for a phone yet so she hasn't connected a phone to it but led lights does seem to connect to music. Needs an adaptor to hook up into wall outlet. Easy assembly and great quality material.

Honestly the instructions were great, the bed is beautiful, took me about an hour to filly assemble (drawers took the longest but fairly easy)…it deserves 5 stars for the price… only reason for 4 stars is it says it can hold up to 600 pounds ( i dont advise, im 230 and im almost certain the slats wont hold up… my son is 100 pounds hopefully the bed will last… Anyways 5 stars if youre getting it for a child or lightweight person.

Fairly easy to put together. Didn’t come with a remote to control the lights which is slightly annoying. Luckily it did come with info about downloading an app to control the lights. Otherwise it’s a really good option if you wanting something quality on a budget.

We purchased two of these beds (one twin, one full) for my teen and pre-teens room makeovers. They absolutely love the lights and storage on them. I love that it has the built-in drawers on either side. They were fairly straightforward to put together.
