This bed is great value for what it costs! My daughter is autistic and loves lights. It goes perfect in her room. It wasn't hard to put together, but did take about 45 minutes for my husband. She loves the convenience of plugging her phone right into the bed. If you're on the fence, GET THIS!

I want to start by saying that I read directions and have assembled many pieces of furniture through the years. I purchased 2 of these beds for my daughters that share a room. I put one together last night and had trouble getting the leather piece to line up with the brackets. It’s actually awful trying to do that whole section. I had to un-do the steps prior to it so that things would have more wiggle room to force together. The sliding doors are very tight even after adjusting the wheels. The end result was nice overall. It’s sturdy and cute. I thought the 2nd bed would be easier since I was familiar and learned some tricks the first time. Wrong. It’s even worse and more pieces aren’t lining up. I gave up after an hour and will revisit it tomorrow when I find some more patience. ... show more

We like that the modern bed has a charging area and cool multicolors to choose from to light up the bed at night. It's sturdy and doesn't sit to high or low. Quality functionality and easy to put together.

Rating this based on the material of the bed - overall, it's a good bed and seems sturdy. However, because it's not wood, you have to be careful when tightening the screws or you'll damage the fiber board. It took a while to put together (about 1.5 hours) and for me, the directions on assembling the Headboard were not very clear. Biggest part was making sure the holes for the middle section where the glass shelf sits is positioned properly before securing the top part with the lower that has the pegs to hold it together. Although this bed is very pretty, once it is finished we could find some problems, for example broken parts and other types of problems, of which I leave pictures. And when you buy it, keep in mind all this that happened to me.
