The user interface on this TV is simple and intuitive. It is extremely easy to switch around between apps and video game consoles. The picture is crisp, and there is no lag when I play high graphic games. The audio is clear. It’s easy to connect the phone app for remote use. My only complaint is that I was expecting to be able to connect my AirPods through the phone app, like I can with all of my other Roku products. For some reason, they took that ability away. Now you have to plug wires earbuds into the physical remote. Only one person can listen at a time. It’s a feature that we used a lot, having a person on nightshift in our house. It seemed like a step backwards, seeing even their little $40 plug in devices have the Bluetooth feature. Besides that, this TV has been a HUGE step up from the Toshiba FireTV we had been using.

Have had for many months. Still going good so no issues there. Image is clear and the Roku part is fast and better than a separate box. It is lightweight and much easier to move than our old tv. It also runs very cool, our old tv would mess with the thermostat in the room because of its heat. This tv is easy to set up and the remote has a find feature if you lose it. The voice command ok the remote is ok but is very basic. It can really only open and close apps plus pause the video. You cannot navigate around an app with it.

Replaced a TCL 55S517 (55" 5 Series) with this. The 7 year old TCL was starting to have issues (probably power supply capacitors), so decided on the Roku. All my TV are Roku enabled (1 40" Roku Select series, or Roku sticks). I'm used to the interface, and I like it. The Roku Plus got decent reviews, and the price is right. I don't need the best of the best $$$. The Roku Plus picture pops compared to the TCL. The TCL was very decent, but I guess the QLED technology makes a difference. Good colors, deep blacks, and very sharp. Easy setup, plenty of connections. Optical sound bar connected no problem (I'll need to compare to the TV speakers as they are supposed to be decent for built in speakers). Really happy with it. Recommended.

I've had this TV for about 2 months now, and the picture quality is fine UNLESS you're streaming a show that comes in HDR10+, which this TV apparently isn't able to support. The HDR10+ capability in the product description is flat-out false advertising. If a show you are watching is streaming in HDR10+, you're staring at grey mud. (Examples: Fleabag Season 2 on Amazon Prime; Longlegs on AppleTV.) Even worse, the picture settings on this TV do not let you drop down the resolution in order to override HDR. Apparently the older Roku TVs did let you do that in the settings, and that option is no longer there. The external Roku devices also still let you do that as well. Sadly, not this TV. In TV Settings > Picture Settings > Picture Mode, your only options are (1) HDR10+ Standard, (2) HDR10+ Bright, and (3) HDR10+ Dark. Inexplicably, HDR10+ Dark looks lighter than HDR10+ Standard or HDR10+ Bright, but all three look like garbage: way too dark and desaturated of color. There's no way to select 1080p or even SD -- either of those would be vastly preferable. All those Youtube videos purporting to show you how to deactivate HDR10+ in Roku (I've watched them all in search of a solution) are showing options in the settings that do not exist on this particular Roku TV. This has been a known issue with Roku TVs for some time, based on what I'm seeing in the Roku discussion forums, and it has not gotten fixed. The Roku support people just copy and paste in the same, outdated language in every forum telling you to adjust it in settings that no longer exist for this TV. All Roku needs to do is add that setting back in that used to exist before, but sadly that hasn't happened. This problem makes certain shows completely unwatchable. Save your money and don't buy this TV if you want the option of watching newer shows, which increasingly do come in HDR10+ by default. P.S. Deactivating HDR in the settings in the Amazon app on the Roku TV doesn't solve the problem either. (AppleTV doesn't have that feature at all, not that it would make a difference apparently.)

Nice picture and decent sound from the TV. There are no adjustments for color or brightness. You cannot get to setting while your streaming anything which can be annoying when you have to go out to the home screen and go back into the app all over again and find what you where watching. If you want to hardwire connect for streaming it's pretty easy to do. Hooking up a Roku Streambar just for extra sound is challenging. There aren't many options if you don't want to use WiFi for extra sound. Their customer service was really great to help me with the set up for the Streambar although they are in India so in the US in means evening calls.

At 80 years old, having a large sized purchase delivered to my door and even brought into my home by the delivery person was a very appreciated bonus! Very easy set up and intuitive small remote to use the tv. I'm not the most tech savy person, but this tv is easy to use. The Roku app is installed and ready to use and there are lots of other apps for more providers if you choose. Some are free to use if you don't mind a few commercials along the way...no more than on regular tv or on Youtube elsewhere though. I am using a small indoor antenna for local channels and that is working well too. The colors are bright, contrast is great and the sound is easy to customize. Will be cancelling my cable tv and saving lots of money! Highly recommend!
