Description

The Rokinon Series II 14mm F2.8 Ultra Wide Angle Lens for Canon EF brings next-generation manual-focus design to a classic ultra-wide perspective. Built for creators, it’s a professional tool ideal for landscape, astrophotography, architecture, and video. With a dramatic 115.7° angle of view on full frame and 89.9° on APS-C, this 14mm lens lets you capture vast scenes with minimal distortion. Its advanced optical construction—14 elements in 10 groups—includes Extra-Low Dispersion (ED), High Refractive (HR), Hybrid- Aspherical (H-ASP), and Aspherical (ASP) components, all working together to produce crisp, clean images with reduced chromatic aberrations. The bright F2.8 aperture enhances low-light performance, making it a great choice for nightscapes and indoor shots. The unique focus lock feature ensures your focus stays put during long exposures—perfect for star trails and night photography. Additionally, the de-click aperture switch offers smooth, silent aperture changes, making the lens ideal for cinematic video work and professional content creation. Built to perform in real-world conditions, this lens is weather sealed at the mount to prevent dust and light moisture intrusion. A built-in petal-style lens hood adds protection while reducing stray light and flare. Its durable housing includes a micro-pattern rubber focusing ring for enhanced grip and manual control. For video shooters, real estate photographers, astrophotographers, and anyone needing consistent, distortion- free results in ultra wide angle, the Rokinon 14mm F2.8 Series II lens is a rugged and refined choice that balances high-end optics with excellent usability.

  • Great 14mm lense

Great price and quality. Bought for Milky Way photography and not disappointed.

  • Really nice lens for astro
Style: Canon EF
i got a good specimen of this lens. I use it for astro. It seems a descent lens especially for the price. At F2,8 i think it could be a tad sharper perhaps. I did use it for the milky way , and the milky way came out real nice. So, no complaints, good lens, good delivery from the US ( i am in Europe) . ... show more

  • Love this lens
Style: Sony FE
I use this lens mainly for landscape and Milky Way photography. My best friend had one, and I had to get one for myself. It's used on my Sony a7Riii. It's very sharp and being such a wide angle lens, easy to manually focus. it's not an autofocus lens. One great feature is that you can lock the f-stop without tape. If you've done night photography, you know what this means. :) ... show more

  • Awesome for Astro photography.
DSLRs are being phased out by all the major manufacturers so I didn’t want to spend a boatload of money on a new lens with just one primary purpose, and that was for Astro photography. A lot of reviews pointed to the Rokinon. But they didn’t really mention this upgraded model. For like $70 more you get the weather sealing and a focus lock ring. I got the infinity focus perfect, locked down the ring and have never had to refocus again. And you may think you don’t need weather ceiling when shooting stars outdoors but believe me you are always going to be dealing with a bunch of dew at some point during your session. So the added safety against moisture is very welcome. I’ve gotten some awesome OK my pictures and I am extremely happy with the purchase. Build quality seems superb and lens hood cap is also well designed. ... show more

  • Terrible Quality control
Style: Canon EF
I bought and returned this lens twice. Both copies had different issues one with a stuck aperture and one that was extremely soft, it seems like quality control is very poor. Maybe I could keep returning them until I get a good version but I don't want to spend weeks sorting through which lenses have what problems. ... show more

  • Not for everyone
Style: Sony FE
The media could not be loaded. Build quality is nice. Built like a tank but not as small and light of a lens as I thought. As big and almost the same weight as my Sigma art lens 14-24mm. I wanted to have lite version of the 14mm for travel purpose. I have many manual focus lenses. It takes practice to able to focus make sure peaking is turned on with your camera. Color fringing was really bad on this lens, not sure if I had a bad copy. ... show more
