I absolutely love this bedframe. It’s really sturdy. It was really easy to put together and it’s got a lot of parts, simply because they’re the slats that go in the frame to hold your mattress up. Definitely read through the instructions all the way through first. I found the best way to organize put everything together was to find the parts that were considered to be the legs of the frame and put them in place where I’m gonna put my bed then unfold the center part of the frame and then get the rails that are going on the sides and at the header and the footer of the bed. Don’t try to insert the rails from the top or the bottom of the bed until after you’ve already got the side rails attached. The A&B part numbers are gonna be the head side legs on the frame. They look a little mixed up with the way they have the pictures in the instructions. And the rails that are on both sides and at the top go in in a particular order because of how the screws lineup on the side rails. The side rails will get put into the holes on both legs a and B before the head rail gets installed , then you put the head rail into the slots. Otherwise, if you do the opposite way, your screws don’t lineup. The hardest part about the whole thing is just unpackaging everything and then getting it all in order, but after that, everything goes together really quickly. I used a rubber mallet on my slats to make sure that they were flat and flush with the frame after I put them in. I had a couple that were a little tight and after hitting them a couple times with the rubber mallet, they lined up perfectly. I got the 18 inch high frame and it’s perfect because it has about 16 inches of storage space under the frame, I have an open studio floorplan so I needed storage. Just make sure you measure your mattress height before you get the frame that you want. I wanted the 16 inches of storage space and I was getting ready to replace my mattress that was 17 inches. But I was really high up and I needed a stepstool to get up on my bed until my new mattress came. So take that into account and measure with a measuring tape how high it’s gonna be from the floor to up your side with your frame and your mattress so that you can make sure you can get in the bed or know if you’re getting the stool lol. I ended up getting a bed skirt ruffle that is 18 inches long. That’ll cover up the storage space below so nobody can see everything is under there but it’s got a massive amount of storage space. The one thing I did run into is that it says it fits standardizing for headboards. My headboard is a queen size headboard, and the screw holes do not lineup at all with the screw holes that are on the legs on the head side of the bed. So I have to order a new headboard, but I’m gonna have to measure the distance between all of holes on the legs to make sure that my new headboard screw holes are gonna fit in the positions that they’re at. So that’s one thing to take an account is it’s not standard sizing for a queen headboard so if you’re planning to use a queen size headboard just plan that you may have to replace it. ... show more

This Bed Frame is an excellent and sturdy product, with no change in performance in the months since I purchased it. I have been having excellent, supportive sleep, the best I have ever had. I am 400+ pound male, 6' tall with very broad shoulders and a barrel chest. (If I had not gotten my mothers short thigh bones, I would easily have reach 6'4-6'6) I had been considering a mattress replacement... I have a heavy-duty coil spring mattress I have had for nearing on 2 decades. At the time my mattress was around $500 on a steep holiday sale, so easily $1000 then. Nearly 20 years later, with the lack of quality and the lack of affordability, as an adult with a limited income, I am glad a frame replacement gave me a new bed. The mattress Clips are great! While they take a little bit of experimentation to find what works, proper installation make the difference. The fact the mattress will easily slide off this frame, without the clips is a GOOD THING! The fact the mattress could easily slide off without the clips means: 1- The bed frame itself is NOT flexing or deforming, very clear indication of its sturdiness. 2- The support Slats are not too narrow, too few or too far apart. Having the mattress deform and sink into the frame will only damage your mattress. 3- Greater ease of changing sheets, mattress Covers and removal of the mattress for cleaning and additional access to the underside of the bed. Side note, as context is important. Product affordability comes from efficient construction, proper assembly and intended use. Making a product more material efficient while still being effective at its designed purpose is good business. Like other should, looking at the 1-Star reviews is a must before any purchase. Finding out if its an issue of human/user error or an actual problem with the product is important. Seeing the reviews with videos of individual negligence is depressing. ... show more

This is a great basic bed frame. It was quick and easy to put together without turning into an all-day project, and once assembled it feels very sturdy and stable. Despite being solid, it's still easy enough to move when needed. The 18-inch height also gives you a ton of usable storage space underneath, which is a nice bonus. Are the mattress stops that go on the side to prevent the mattress from sliding off? The stops are made out of plastic and come off too easy. I absolutely love this bed frame! After I got it put together, I noticed how high it actually was. I have a small 14lb dog and I was concerned about her being able to jump onto the bed. The first couple times she struggled, so I just carry her to the bed now when it's time for bed. The height is perfect fit for me being 5'9. The instructions were clear, but you really had to pay attention in order to put it together correctly. I put it together by myself, but it would have been a lot easier if there was a second person helping. The bed frame is made with very strong metal, so there is no worry about it bending. It's a great value for the money. My mattress does comfortably on the frame. The appearance is nice and sleek lines and the ends and side legs are rounded so no sharp corners! Perfectly satisfied with this product. Assembly took about an hour. All parts matched screws aligned and started easily. All screws have a dash of thread locker on that, so that saves you a step. Holds our weight well and sits very level. In response to other's comments: Squeaks - not noticed - may not have tightened the screw tight or tapped the cross pieces in deep enough. Flexes - not noticed - may not have tightened the screws tight enough. Lack of written directions - True, but it has really good step-by-step diagrams. I would prefer that to poorly written directions. Also the packaging and waste was minimal Tools provided were adequate for the task and they include spare parts: foot pads and screws. One of the best "assemble at home" products I've purchased. ... show more
