I’m very pleased with the outcome of my first pc build. Since I am out of reach from the router, the ASUS ROG STRIX Z-590 A board was a great choice. The bios functions normally and the aesthetics of the board are amazing. The LED strip on the board can be controlled by Razers chroma studio so I assume it’s very compatible with other software as well. I still have two extra m.2 spaces to use. I recently did a case swap from my Alienware aurora R12 prebuilt computer so I could have larger components and better hardware. My old case had a motherboard that would not come out so I found this motherboard on sale and bought the WiFi 2 model for its antenna. My old internet speed connectivity through a floor and several walls used to be around 10-30 megabytes per second due to connectivity as it was always 70-80 nearby the router, but as soon as I installed this new motherboard and hooked up the antenna, I have been getting a steady 50-80 megabytes daily with a very finite amount of drops in speed. This hardware swap has pretty much changed my entire gaming experience thanks to better connectivity. The motherboard even has rgb although it doesn’t turn off when you turn the computer off unless you go into BIOS and turn off the rgb being still on when it was powered off. ... show more

I bought this to match a white setup, even thought it’s not as white as it should be it was the only option in the ROG Strix series as the Prime series is junk to me. While it was easy to setup and had no issues one complaint I have when upgrading from my z490 is Asus forgot to put a digital optical output on this z590. What can I say? I upgraded to this board from an Asus TUF Z390 w/an i5 9600k. Pairing this board with the same 3070ti from my last board and the i5 11600k I notice a HUGE increase in performance.
