We remodeled our kitchen and still had our old, high back stools that just looked dated. So, I am really happy with the more modern, low back, neutral color (grey for me) and look of these chairs. Four fit nicely at the 8" foot island. They are decently comfortable, but 3 of the 4 do rock a slight bit (they seem sturdy, they just don't sit perfectly flat). I am not the biggest fan of the white stitching, it makes them look a bit cheap IMO but it isn't all that visible when tucked in or when someone is sitting in them. I am not sure what "PU leather" is but I don't even recognize the material as faux leather. It looks a bit like suede but has a unique feel- not like suede or leather. Considering the low price point, these are pretty nice chairs and I am super happy with how much better they look in my kitchen compared to the last ones! Installation was easy. One thing though- the frame comes in 2 pieces that bolt together. Both orders we received, the frames were mated like with like... meaning you need to take one from each pair and join it with one from the other pair. Just noting this to possibly save you some time as we assumed the pairs went together and wasted some time redoing the first seat assembly. ... show more

These were easy to assemble and the final product is cute however they aren't the most sturdy stools. That's OK because so far we haven't had any issues with them which is nice.

Not only do I love the color but also how well the chair wraps you around so you don't fall off and the back is big enough to reach my mid back - I was worried the back would be too short and wouldn't work for me Provide support to yourself and your guests. The only reason I rated 4 stars for easy to assemble is because you'll need a 2nd person to help put the seats on the frame. It is easy to build but its hard to put the seat and the frame together without help.
