Stock cooler on cpu is a joke. Had to upgrade stock cooler and chassis fan in order for cpu to not idle at 70C. Once booting up a game and not even playing the temp immediately jumps to 100C with jet engines trying to keep the cpu cool and failing. Once upgrading the chassis fan and cpu cooler the computer is great. Had to spend an additional $115 to be able to use this pc without melting hardware. 3080 runs at a consistent 50C under heavy load.

The specs alone are pretty good. However the case and cpu is what causes the most issues. Since the case is so small with limited room for fans it will run very hot. If you buy this I would recommend doing a case swap and buying a new cpu cooler (cpu naturally runs hot (idling around 40-50⁰C)). However case swap and changing Cpu cooler is AGAINST THE WARRANTY

Had to type this review over 4 times now and it keeps erasing upon me trying to add more than one photo so here you go... One photo. It has i7-11700KF ( The f means no integrated gpu but it is still unlocked!) Asus strix b560-g mobo nice included antenna for wifi 6gen this mobo revision only has two pciex16 gen3 or 4? It has one free SATA(B&M key)(not nvme)m.2 slot under the rtx3080 that I cannot seem to get loose from the pci key lock thumb thingie, even after removing all the bracket fasteners. However, the primary boot driver is 1TB NVMe Kingston snvs1000g directly below cpu and above first pcie16 The ram is luckily 2x8gb (not the dreaded 1x16gb) They are 2 x skhynix HMA82GR7AFR4N-UH which is ddr4-2400. The psu is asus semimodular E750 750watt, 80+gold with extra cables included (several 8pins and some sata power) Overall the case is nice but no extra room for hdd unless you put it in a whacky spot. Control the leds and cpu fan speed with the asus armoury crate app and I adjust the gpu fan speed with msi afterburner( I use msi afbr for rivatuner for ingame display of cpugpu temps). I am really satisfied with this purchase, the computer has an i7-11700KF processor, 2TB HDD, 2TB SDD, 64 GB DDR4 RAM, 10 GB GDDR6 GPU (RTX 3080 from Asus TUF) and it runs everything so smooth, it has a nice design for air cooling, it also includes an antenna for wifi which is great, loved the internal general arrangement layout and the viewing window at the side wall, although the only thing I really dislike is the power button, I can't believe that such a beauty can't have a nice button! This one you have to force press it for a while with quite some strength to get it on, otherwise it won't (ofc that would not impact my review not the vendor because it's a manufacturer issue with the tower case design) anyway I am really pleased to write such a positive review, the overall product is outstanding, the vendor is also really good and has really good customer service, I am overjoyed overall (by the way the product included an HDMI 2.1 cable ready for 8k60hz & 4k120hz uhd) system offered an upgrade to win11 as well, and has a preinstalled office 365. Make sure to download driver and utilities for your vcard!

I wanted to play the latest games at 1440 max settings with high FPS on the latest AAA games. This does that. It can run 4k games but you lose those high frames per second and it isn't as smooth of an experience. It is quite noisy if you have the extra internal mechanical drive when idle. I replaced mine with a 2tb ssd with no moving parts. Now when it is idle it is pretty quiet. The only moving part now while idle or low load would be the cpu fan which isn't spinning very fast. It can be quiet. Mine was duel channel 16gbx2 ram. I do turn on turbo in armory crate and this can be noisy in favor of performance maxed. This ramps up the fans It is quiet enough under full load that if I have headphones and gaming it barely noticeable. In air conditioned room my average gpu temp was 65 degrees Celsius and cpu was in the 85 degree on average while gaming on max settings and will keep boosting up to that. It throttles at 87. I read that the safe operating temperature is 100. So it is below that but being above 80 will reduce the lifespan of the cpu life. I has a big cooler on it but think it should be a better cooler maybe a duel tower heatsink with duel fans or adding another fan on the heatsink so it stays under 80s degrees Celsius. Both GPU and CPU are overclockable. Many RGB lights with many preset settings in armory crate that you can even use the rbg to monitor temperature. It works with other asus rog rgb items to sync the lights together. Such as headphones. It also is used to update drivers all in one place which is nice. Happy with everything except I didn't like the mechanical drive and don't think the cpu cooler is good but not great. With side panel off I'm getting 76-84 average now on cpu and 60 degrees Celsius on gpu which is great. So the issue is the airflow design on case.

The thing only had 1x 80mm fan no 120mm or larger fans. I haven't seen 80mm be a standard in over a decade.. let alone 1 fan. This was definitely not enough to keep the system cool while mining. So I bought another case with five 120 mm fans and just swapped everything from the internals. It was still cheaper than buying all the parts individually so I'll give it a four out of five.

Oh where to begin. How about despite the fact that they "claim" it was designed for airflow, the opposite is true. The built this with no consideration for cooling. The CPU fan is no where near what it should be for proper cooling. The GPU was seat damn near on top of the MOBO, and heat sinks directly into it. There is zero room for more than one additional fan, which will not suffice to cool the PC. The hardware is great, really good stuff, but the layout is just poor. Especially for the Asus brand. Honestly, I ripped them apart and recased them. Warranty wasn't very good anyways.
