Since the repeller can also be powered wirelessly via 3 AA rechargeable batteries (included) you can place it anywhere you want to deter rodents, e.g as a squirrel repellent for attic. When the batteries die you can recharge them with the included USB cable, or simply leave it plugged in to run it 24/7 without it ever dying. You also have the option of turning off the strobe lights, so you can use it at home in rooms where the lights would be annoying to see.
- SAFE FOR PETS. INAUDIBLE TO HUMANS. Ultrasound is completely inaudible to humans meaning no annoying noise to bother you. Dogs and cats can hear it, but the volume is too low to cause them any bother at all. The best ultrasonic rodent repeller should be usable for all.

I have had three cars eaten by wild rats. Not kidding. Three. But here's the issue. I love rats as pets. My daughter has five of them, so killing them is a last resort. I just want to stop them from making a meal out of my cars (the last one was a brand new car with less than 3000 miles on it, and they did over $10,000 in damage). So, I am desperate to find something that will keep them from getting into the engine. The biggest plus is that this unit is very flexible. You can run it on batteries via a USB port or connect it to your car's battery. In addition, it has an automatic on-off feature. Car on, repellant off, and visa-versa. It also has both sound and strobe lights, both of which seem to be helpful in deterring pests. It states that it won't drain the car's battery. This is an extremely inexpensive way of deterring rodents from munching on the wiring of your car or anywhere else where pests might be a problem. I will be testing it over time, but I have high hopes for this device.

The media could not be loaded. This rodent repellent gadget packs a lot of punch! I made a short video, which appears as if there is sound coming from it but there isn’t (something is being picked up by my iPhone). It comes with all the necessary cables and instructions. Seems well made and assuming no critters show up, worth every penny!
