Yeah, this piece of plastic is a bit on the pricey side, but it helps create a sturdy external interview mic for the wireless Go. I am not sure if it works with other mic set ups, but assume so as the wireless microphone clips to the plastic. The sound is pretty good quality as I use it for FB live community meetings and video updates for wildfire communications. If you are not fond of the RODE on the mic windscreen, simply use a black sharpie on the white letters. ... show more

What can I say? It's an overpriced plastic stick for holding Rode Wireless GO mics. It works well, but as others have said, we could do without the oversized Rode logo printed on two sides of the wind screen.

I'm not one to balk at a marked up price. These things don't cost that much to make, so RODE is making themselves a decent profit here. I'm okay with that. But the giant in-your-face RODE logo across the entire mic foam is a bit much. I'm guessing RODE thinks some 'influencers' who use these things would love to show off their fancy not-aftermarket gear choices... but some of us just want an unobtrusive handheld wireless mic solution without it also being a billboard. Anyways, as far as functionality goes, it works fine, the one gripe I have is if you don't gingerly slide off the foam while the mic is installed, sometimes the mic unit pops off while pulling off the foam, so always be ready for that and don't let it drop on a hard surface. I really like how they have the long handle here (like a typical ENG mic), which lets me put a mic flag on it if I want, and still have plenty of room for holding the handle and pointing the mic at someone (especially in these socially-distant times). ... show more

    • Great for what I need it for!
I got it hoping it would work with my mic system that is not Rode. I thought it might be a long shot, but it is COMPLETELY compatible and works perfectly. My only issue is with the wind sock that goes over it. It is tight to get on, but I suspect it will loosen up over time. Light weight. Wish it had a carrying case with it though. ... show more

Note: This is just a mix holder and not an actual mic. I purchased several Rode Go mic systems for my middle school videography class and these mic holders are a fantastic addition. I would like to add that I have LOTS of mics, mostly corded, and the RODE Wireless Go mics are far and away my favorite, both for ease of use and sound quality. ... show more

    • Simple & Useful
The idea for this little handheld adapter is so simple, yet so useful. Not much to explain here. Pretty simple, straightforward. The other thing is that it makes you look legit if you're on camera in a podcast or reporting style setting
