I bought these to wear under my motorcycle gear when riding in the mountains in 40 degree weather. I did have on other gear over them, of course, but I was so glad that I had these as the first layer. Unlike older long johns, these are soooo thin so they fit under my jeans really well.

I am 5’ 5” and am longer in my legs than torso. These definitely are longer than I need but since they taper at the ankle I’m keeping them. Also, all of my other thermals usually start riding up when I put another layer over them so at least these will have a fighting chance at covering my ankles after. I don’t know how great they’ll be at keeping me warm yet but will update after my upcoming trip.

I am obsessed with these thermals! I’ve bought them for 3 family members and they love them too! Two drawbacks that I see at this point. The day I pulled them out of the packaging there were loose threads. I clipped them at the time but the seams have since unsewn in those areas. Sad. I’ve worn them at least once a week since purchasing them. I’ve had them for somewhere around 6 weeks and they are pilling, which is unfortunate since I love them so much!
