This is my first foray past a speaker bar and it is incredible how big an upgrade it has been. They are beautiful and feel super solid. The sound quality is such a big upgrade from my speaker bar experience that rewatching shows has felt like a full different experience. The base is very good so might be to much for apartments with bad sound insulation. My only realy complaint is some of the remotes buttons overlap with my tvs, this has been a very minimal inconvenience.

Very nice construction. Quality veneer and good weight to avoid distortion. Controls for treble, Sub woofer and EQ were easy to use and takes a little manipulation with the various types of music being plàyed. The quality of sound was better than I expected and when the volume is turned up I did not detect any distortion. I now live in a retirement community so space is limited but these speakers work Great. I am not disappointed.

I bought these speakers to connect to my turntable and upgrade from the smaller bookshelf speakers I had before. I chose these speakers as much for the color and ease of connectivity as anything else. The color is not as red / cherry as I expected but still I am satisfied with it. The highest volume setting is also a bit lower than I would have expected, but I never expect to use that level anyway. So the volume is fine. It has a scale of 1 to 30 and I usually listen somewhere between 17 and 22. I was concerned about connecting headphones since this unit only has RCA output jacks. I posted a question on Rockville site and the response I got from the company is that you cannot connect headphones. Well that is not true. A simple adapter solved that and I am able to use headphones, which is awesome. It is also fabulous to be able to control everything with the remote control. Absent that, there was no way with my prior setup to change the volume when someone came into the room or you wanted to take a phone call but now I can do that with the press of a button. Two things that would have made this a five-star is Bluetooth output so I could listen on headphones via Bluetooth, and a true equalizer rather than preset equalizer settings. However these are relatively minor missing things.

Update: August 23, 2020- This system just died on me and within 4 months of getting it. I sent a message to the seller (Audiosavings) to see what I need to do to get it replaced. With all the bad reviews, I did buy the extended warranty from Amazon to cover myself so if Audiosavings won't do anything, then I'll go through Amazon. I've had this system set up for just under 2 months. The sound is great and thumps for dual 8 inch woofers. I wanted the 10 inch system but it was out of stock at the time. The optical connection is nice to connect your TV without having to buy adaptors and cables like the other Rockville system I got. The FM radio sucks because it tunes in way too many stations of static/bleed overs, just like the other Rockville system I have so you have to go through way too many stations to find clear stations. The remote is pretty good since it doesn't need to be exactly in line of site; unlike the other Rockville system I have and the remotes are almost identicle. 1 bad thing about this is every time I turn it on, it comes on full blast. I haven't been able to figure out how to keep it at the sound level when it's turned off. If Rockville would make a dual 12 inch/1,200 watts and/or 15 inch/1,500 watt system exactly like this, I would definitely jump at the chance to buy it to really make the house thump. I did buy the 3 year extended warranty after reading so many bad reviews so It's just a wait and see to see if it will last but it's now set up in my bedroom and not blasting music/movies like when it was set up in my TV room.

The speakers are powerful and connect seamlessly to Bluetooth turntable. The FM reception is very good. Shipping problem in that one speaker was damaged. Side edge is split and shows through the wood grain.

You need a 6 star option for certain products, and this is one of them! I was building a system to cover a large sitting room adjacent to our dining room. I was particular in what I needed/wanted. I'd done research for a couple months, learning about tech specs, scouring lists for top brands, and even reached out to Rockville sharing room dimensions and what I was looking for. A Rockville rep replied within a day or two and answered my questions. I settled on the TM80's and chose the cherry finish to match a vintage Victrola unit and hand built stand. The color on these is incredible. I also wanted a powered set that wouldn't require an amp (as I wanted a certain nostalgic look I was going for). They incorporate plenty of modern technology like an FM tuner, Bluetooth, and easy to use remote, with plenty of media input & output options. All of these are subtly incorporated and merge a beautiful balanced of classic and contemporary. Above all, these speakers have EXCEPTIONAL sound quality and plenty of power to say the least! We broke these in at a Christmas party in our home and I lost track of how many people complimented the sound, tremendous clarity and base you can feel in your chest through three rooms! We purchased the TM-80's, which are plentiful of power for us, but they have a bigger series too, if you'd need it. These easily compare to much higher priced speakers. If you're in the market, these should be at the absolute top of the list for consideration!
