These things didn't take much to setup. They are SO LOUD...they shake everything with just the 12" model. The price is amazing, I can't imagine getting this quality for the price with other brands. Plus they're so versatile and easy to carry.

Hi, As a keyboard player and overall sound tech for a band, I am overall pleased with these Rockvilles because they are so clean and clear and we're using them for monitors. The high wattage is really helpful here, for more than enough power even for outdoor music in the park gigs. For the piano, however, if this would be the only speaker, I'd recommend trying the 15" speaker... as the bass is just not what I'd like... Yeah, I can tell. But, if you have a sub or a keyboard amp then you're all set. These are the best monitors I've ever owned for the money, and they are everything I need. I like their more sophisticated settings options, though I haven't tried them out yet. I also like their pass through. and ease of use. I'm not so sure about the the "stayon" connecter for the electrical. I guess that's more secure so your plug won't come out during a show if there's an earthquake or something. I guess it could be good if you let people dance near your monitors. That's not good for liability reasons though. Overall I'm super pleased a great deal... great quality and nice clear mids and high end. Bass is ok. Knowing what I know now, I'd buy em again. ... show more

I purchased two speakers on 10 October as a birthday gift. They arrived on 17 October. On 18 October we tried the speakers and one did not function properly. I contacted Rockville and they stated unfortunately I would have to return the defective speaker. I asked for a replacement to be sent I also immediately took the defective speaker to the fedex drop off location. I was told by Rockville that a replacement could not be sent until the defective speaker was checked by Rockville. I asked several time a replacement not a refund be issued. When I was notified the defective speaker had cleared Rockville I asked how quickly a replacement would ship. I was told at that time no replacement could be sent I had to get a refund. Rockville customer service continually lead me to believe I would receive a replacement not a refund. ... show more

For $250, this speaker is good. I would say that the bass isnt what I thought (I love bass so was expecting more) but it definitely will get the job done. I plan on adding just a subwoofer to get the bass Im really looking for. Overall, I like it. I would suggest it. Get 2 if you really wanna be blown away. One thing I dont like is you cannot control the bass and treble. It has preset eqs (normal,indoor,outdoor,speech) which dont give you any control at all but still sounds good. Bad product, it only works the first day I used it, after two weeks I used it again, and the Bluetooth does not work, it does not connect with any device, and the worst thing that when you want to return it they tell you that they do not accept return, and they do not help solve the problem
