  • Excellent value, built very well
This thing is built VERY well, its kinda heavy but that means it does not have cheap parts in it. The sound the puts to my speakers/sub is INCREDIBLE, I had the Pyle 400 Watt marine amp and didn't like it, put this amp in and its NIGHT and DAY difference. Spend the extra bit of money and get this one. This amp is powering 2 Pyle 600 watt marine 6.5" speakers and a Pyle 400 watt 8' sub, the sub is bridged on the amp with channels 3 & 4 and sounds very good, the 6.5" are very loud. Would buy again. ... show more

  • Great Product
I waited a few months since purchase to write the review. I had another brand amp mounted in my UTV and it was "Marine quality" but every single time it got a little wet it would crap out. Not this unit it has held in the rain, washing and riding conditions. I highly recommend this unit for your UTV or ATV. Sound quality is supper clear and it powers my 4 - 6.5" Rockville Audio Marine speakers as well. Defiantly worth the money! ... show more

  • I love this thing!
This amp is amazing. I installed it on my golf cart. After about a month I am still trying to find ways to blow a fuse or burn it up completely. I have four speakers running at a 1 ohm load to channel 1. Channel 2 is open. Channels 3 and 4 are bridged, currently to a 4 ohm single 8" woofer. Just got the other 8" today. Let's see if we can bridge 3 and 4 to a 2 ohm load. I'd surprised if not. All told (so far) I have been running off of 3 15aph batteries wired together. I got about six hours out of it at 80% volume (LOUD). We could hear the base floating in the lake 100+ yards away. Very good quality amp thus far! The PA is just a bonus that matches my silliness. :) ... show more

  • Solid Amp
All around a solid amp. Really woke up my Rockville speakers I have mounted on my RZR. Only two complaints: The amp itself was a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be. The description says "mirco", but when I opened the box, it was huge. Had to custom make some brackets to be able to mount it under the dash of the RZR. Second issue is the mic for the PA system is so sensitive that it is unusable. As soon as you key the mic, the feed back will blow your ear drums out. I didn't buy for this feature, just a bonus that I thought we be fun to try out. ... show more

  • Great product
I added to my Jeep to run 4 speakers, so far no issues and have not had any issues. Sound is there obviously have to play with settings to get the sound your looking for. But overall worth the money

  • Blew the amp on the first use with 2 speakers
Connected amp checked sound and adjusted, came back the next morning and the amp was not working, it had blown the sound processor. Amp never passed 25% level

  • Quality But Not The Whole Story
Purchased this amp 3 years ago, but only fitted 6 months ago, big mistake, after just a few weeks channels started to cut out and then one completely disappeared. Now all channels are fed to the amp at 4 Ohm, as an audio technician the installation was done properly. called Rockville and explained that although the amp was bought 3 years ago, it was only installed 6 months ago. They communicated and offered that they would supply a board for $10 less than normal. Installing a new board is no easy task as the connectors to the outside are welded to the board and anyone with less than experience and tools in component level audio is going to struggle and its a long process. Having now bought an NVX amp I took the Rockville apart, its well made, but the heat syncs on the output transistors etc are pitiful to say the least. Having bought a lot of Rockville equipment over the years ,Sorry Rockville but you need to step up and replace these units when they fail, quoting a strict warranty policy will do nothing for customer relations. Youve lost a long time customer for $100 Now I understand that they have a warranty period, however are we all supposed to expect that a year is all we will get for our money. Installing marine amps is not an easy task, normally means crawling into a hole and in Florida that hole is frikkin hot. So you spend your money, fry your brain, install it properly to find it fails misearbly. ... show more

  • Don't Be Skeptical
This little thing has some power. I used this amplifier for a pair of 8 inch Rockville wakeboard tower speakers. The sound quality is loud and clear. Easy to install and great on a budget build.
