I love this amp. It hits really hard and has all the protection from not making it blow out. Louder than my 800.1 kicker and that blew in 3 days. It stays on hitting pretty good barley goes in protect. Ive went through alot of amps, autoteck 2500 amp meanmachine, the alpine 450 mp, also the power acoustic 2500 and this one is better than all them bar none. Steady at 1 ohm is a major plus for me. Im pushing 2 gothics. And I've blown mtxs 10s 6000 series, alpine type r, almani, kicker 12 comp r, kicker 10s comp r, and the german red 12s 1000 watt. ... show more

This amp has been in protection mode since I hooked it up. Can't figure out why. It's hooked up just like the one I took out for this one, all I changed was was size of power and ground wires. Was sent a bar code to return it and ups store was unable to scan or print it so now I'm out nearly $200, not counting the price of the other amp I had to get. You might get lucky and get a good one, or you might end up in the same situation I'm in. ... show more

I'm pleased with the quality and function of amp. My first experience with company. I was also very pleased with speed of shipping and customer service. There are a couple things I was displeased with but since it wasn't brand new I'm ok with it. Nothing to bad.

Anything is better than my 200 watt amp before, BUT this amp surpasses my expectations! Not only for its function, sound quality, and price but the thinking behind each and every connection; power inputs and speaker outputs have a set screws that are at about a 45 degree angle meaning they securely lock a wire in place AND you don't run the risk of grounding out your tool on the chassis IF you like to take risks and not disconnect it beforehand. Read through the reviews on its performance; I am not going to bore you with my speaker setup or technical data since it works great for me and from a lot of the reviews; it works great for them and that's what I based my purchase on. I was Skeptical when I clicked purchase, 129.00 ha, but I'm tired of spending money JL Audio amps. When I received it I was even more Skeptical. It was paper light, I felt that the switches and stuff are cheaply made too. So I turned the Level to half. I have 2 ported JL 12 w3's went for a spin and they where a huge let down! Came back to house pulled everything to get to amp turned the amp all the way up. went for a spin, WOW for 125 bucks totally worth it, even pushes metal bass well. for the money they are worth it. I hope it lasts a bit. for this price i may buy one more and run one to each 12. ... show more
