Description

Over the years, the technology used to create audio amplifiers has grown by leaps and bounds. We consider it our mission to use our expertise in developing the latest technologies and to bring you the absolute best sounding amplifiers on the market and of course at a reasonable price. From its clean, sleek design to its high quality components, you will be amazed at the quality and power that these new Phenom amps offer. The RXD-M1 is a mono amplifier with 2,000 watts peak output and 500 watts Dyno Certified power. Here at Rockville we offer the best value in car audio. We therefore want to make it easy for you to compare our products to any brands on the market. The peak rating can be used to compare with brands who use peak ratings such as Boss and Power Acoustik while the Dyno Certified RMS Power Ratings can be used to compare with top brands such as Kicker, Rockford, Alpine, etc. One of the tricks to determine the real power of a car amplifier is to multiply the fuse rating by 10 to determine the true RMS power. This formula almost always works within 20 %. RXD-M1 features a Maxi fuse with a rating of 60 Amps. Compare this to other amps on the market with similar fuse ratings and you’ll see that with the RXD-M1 you are getting your money’s worth and then some. This unit also features a high speed MOSFET power supply and studio-grade bipolar output stage transistors. It has a fully adjustable 12dB/Octave cross over with differential circuitry. Other features include a subsonic filter, a fully adjustable bass equalizer, mute and delay soft start technology, a phase control switch, and a dashboard subwoofer control for added convenience. The RXD-M1 is protected by a full IC controlled circuit and has professional peak limiter circuitry guaranteeing distortion free musical playback at all levels. The RXD mono amplifiers took years of engineering. A lot of new technology went into these amps. We call this technology optical coupler Class-D. This new technology gives the amplifier punchier bass compared with a typical class “D” amp. A major difference in our OC technology is the preamp input stage and output stage are separated in circuitry. It is less susceptible to noise, which typically is picked up from the preamp input. The RCA input accepts both balanced and un-balance inputs. If there is potential inference in the car, the balanced input signal is less susceptible to noise.

  • Good deal works great little less powerful than I expected
Paired it with jbl ss2 I think they were in a ported box got it all for my sister for Christmas on a cyber Monday for 300 total amp subs and box I already had tons of wire she loved it and they thought it was really loud myself I’ve had a lot and it’s a decent set up for the money for sure

  • Packaging sucks
What I disliked is the packaging. There was nothing to dampen it from bouncing around in the box it was shipped in and the box was sbeat up for sure. The amp is great. Pushes a CT sound strato 12

  • Alot of bass for the buck!
This is my second Rockville amp and I continue to be impressed with the value they offer. I have spent a lot of money on big name amplifiers over the years and decided to try something new. The quality of these amplifiers far exceeds the price point. I purchased a 3000w(peak) for my truck and a 2000w(peak) for my wife's car. Excellent terminal connections for large gauge wiring and having amp mounted fuses adds to the safety factor. I dont think you can find a CEA compliant 1ohm stable amplifier pushing these power ratings for a better price without sacrificing quality and reliability. Very happy with my decision. ... show more

  • Only a month!
I hooked it up on Feb 13th and it died on March 2. You get what you pay for. It did sound good when was work and it put good power out while it was working.

  • Rockville Fricking Rocks the house
This Amp is everything I had hoped for. It has more than enough power to do everything my head is able to put out. Installed with 2x 12" DVC Kickers that are wired for 2 Ohms. The input level is only at 60% LP freq is around 78. Play some "Noisestorm Afterburner" and it will shake the mirrors right off the vehicle at 40% bass remote and the equalizer set just above flat. There is only one thing O have to say," I need to get a 4 channel for the other 10 speakers" so I can use the most out of this amp. ... show more

  • Well worth the money!
For what it costs this amp puts in some work. My sub sounds great on this amp. Easy to install and adjust. The bass knob is a good touch too. The overall look it adds is awesome!

  • Once it blows a fuse, it's toast
I purchased this amp on Feb. 25, and today Mar. 4 it's dead Jim. This amp is supposed to be rated at 1000 watts RMS. I wish I'd have paid closer attention upon ordering, then I would have realized that 1000 watts for this amp can't be right, the fuse is only rated for 60 A. That means 12 x 60 gives you about 720 watts. So yeah, the amp that I was running before this is an MTX 601D, rated for 600 watts RMS. It has 3 x 25 A fuses, and yes that amp is also CEA rated which Rockville claims this amp is. Funny thing is the subs which are also Rockville (W10K6) has a rating of 1000 watts RMS each, when reading the specs I thought this "1000 watt RMS" amp should be a good pairing for those subs, (which are beasts by the way) and the only reason I purchased this amp vs sticking with the MTX was because the MTX amp isn't 1 ohm stable (can only go as low as 2 ohms). So I thought I was getting a good deal.... So today I was driving home, and was in the mood to hear some Korn... loud! All the sudden I lost all bass. I thought "Wow! I blew a fuse... Dayum!".... No biggie, so I find an Autozone and bought another 60 A fuse and when I swapped it out I got sparks, and smoke.... I feel I must mention that the key to the car was in my pocket, and the radio wasn't on. I had to pull that fuse, and the one under the hood to that I didn't have a Car-B-Q in the Autozone parking lot. Overall the amp sounded fine, the bass was clear, and strong (at low volumes). Lucky for me Amazon is replacing the amp under warranty, but I'm not sure if I want to risk burning my car down if or when I blow another fuse..... check out the pics ... show more
