The RXD-F30 is a 4 channel high power amplifier with 2400 Watts peak output, 800 Watts RMS output (4 x 200 @ 2 Ohms). You can also bridge the amplifier and get 2 x 600 Watts RMS @ 4Ohms. The CEA-2006 compliant rating is 100 x 4 @ 4 Ohms and 150 x 4 @ 2ohms <1% THD. Most brands do not use CEA compliant ratings because quite simply they do not want you to be able to compare their amps to others on the market. Over here at Rockville, we want you to be able to compare our amps to any brand on the market. For this reason, we are supplying you with multiple ratings. The CEA compliant rating should be used when matching up or comparing this amplifier to other CEA compliant brands such as Kicker, Rockford Fosgate, Alpine, etc. We also supply arms rating which should be used when comparing with great brands that are not CEA compliant such as Hifonics, Earthquake, Powerbass, etc. The peak rating is simply what the amplifier can hit for a split second at the highest point of a song. This rating from any brand is not really important. RMS and CEA ratings truly are the most important. One of the tricks to determine the real power of a car amplifier is to multiply the fuse rating by 10 to determine the true RMS power. This formula almost always works within 20 %. RXD-F30 features Dual 30 Amp Fuses. Compare this to other amps on the market with similar fuse ratings and you’ll see that with the RXD-F30 you are getting your money’s worth and then some.

Just installed powering a set of pioneer 6.5 components in my front doors (90 watt rms) and MB quart z series 6.5 components rear doors 70 watt RMS. MANUFACTURERS ratings. I have them wired at 2 ohms using the front two channels sending clean 2006 cea rated 75w to each corner. Very clean sound does the job well. Gain set a little under half and sounds great Allowing to use my rear channels to push my 2 8 inch pioneer P.R.O. MID bass speakers not yet installed. Like any amp 0FC wire and fine tuning is key to great soud. I've owned hi end brands rockford fosgate,MTX, etc... This is the best buy for sure and using the CEA RATING THAT IS THE BEST WAY TO COMPARE to the high end amps! Also to note it's very efficient class A/b amp conserves power when not needed with G circuitry that makes it 70 percent more efficient for a/b rating according to rockville. Great thing to consider running a stock battery and electrical system like mine. In my opinion seems to be true in reality and doesn't get hot. Also allows more power for my 1769 watt RMS mono old school soundstream amp running two sundown sa 8 v3's. Excellent subs btw. Another great feature to mention is to connect this amp before your sub amp or other amps as it sends 8 volts to the next amp which makes my subs sound cleaner rather than connecting sub amp first. All in all best amp for the money by far for 100$ I would buy another rockville amp again!!! ... show more

I have only had this product for a little over a week. So time will tell how it lasts. So far it is a great little amp. My only issue is the manual says it comes with the microphone yet I never received one with mine. I absolutely love the fact that it was Dino certified. If you are undecided on whether or not to purchase this amp I would say go for it. You will not be disappointed. The app feels like it has a solid build and that's how the quality of produces is very clear and clean. ... show more

I have only had this installed two days and I am impressed. Good sound and $90 well spent! (on sale) I have it running through a Clarion EQ, and running it to some Polk Audio db 6x8's (front), and some JBL 2-WAY GTO 6X9's in the back. Sounds real nice. This is my first experience with Rockville, and so far they live up to their name. They also rate the "REAL POWER of the amp, and not fake specifications. I will be trying more Rockville products in the near future. On a side note: The amp does have Allen(HEX) type connectors and not the "screw" type in the PICS. Buy it, you will be glad you did... ... show more

I have been a supporter of Rockvilles products up until I purchased this amp, and then 2 K9 12's a few weeks after. This amp broke in 2 days just pushing my component set up front and a pair of 6x9's in the back with gains set at about 1/3. One day I turned my truck on and was backing out of the garage and heard a loud unusual noise coming from my speakers and it scared my dog and I. I turned off the truck and ran to the back and turned off the circuit breaker I had installed near it. My K9 12's are still working but only because I turn them down when I start to smell the voice coils burning up due to cheap glue on rockvilles end. Bottom line is, rockville is a hit or miss brand and the past two purchases have been misses for me. ... show more

Its sleek stature makes it easy to use. ***As always with car audio...do your research pre purchase*** Pairing your components is paramount. I saw too many negative ratings due to clear user error. I paired this amp with 2 pioneer 12 inch 500 watt rms dvc (dual voice coil) subs and a slant back vented dual box. Would buy this amp again anytime ... show more

I bought this amplifier to install in my center console to replace a factory Bose amplifier. It is not pushing the limits of it's rating, and the input level and gain are at about half. It's only running a HPF, as I have subs. And it still overheats and shuts off after an hour or so of 2/3-3/4 volume listening. It does work well and create a nice sound. And is very compact, but I wish it had better thermal management. ... show more

For the size and price it is a very good unit. I 4 starred because a few years ago I had troubles with a product and never did speak to customer service. Even after emails, phone calls. Nothing. I hope they have changed that. Good amp though.
