Description

The Rockville RWB80B 8" Marine Wakeboard Tower Speakers are built to deliver premium sound for boats, Jeeps, ATVs, and other outdoor vehicles. With a total of 600 watts peak power (400 watts RMS), each speaker features an 8" polypropylene mica cone and a 1" polymide dome neodymium tweeter, powered by a built-in 2-way crossover network for crisp mids, highs, and voice clarity. Designed to handle the elements, the RWB80B is fully marinized with waterproof coatings, rust-resistant stainless steel terminals, sealed rubber gaskets, and a rugged bracket system reinforced with steel. These brackets fit roll bars from 1.26" to 2.05" and include longer screws to accommodate larger setups like those on Jeep Wranglers and UTVs. Engineered for audio performance and reliability, the speakers include high BL magnet motors, oversized 1.25" Kapton voice coils, Y30 magnets, and Santoprene surrounds for consistent long- term use. With a frequency response of 60-20,000 Hz, 98dB sensitivity, and 4-ohm impedance, the RWB80B delivers loud, clear audio that stands up to both open water and rugged trails.

Finally got these installed and they lasted about 3 minutes (out of warrantee period of course). I Put 250 to them and they grenaded. The actual pods are decent and mounted up nicely. So I guess I bought 125.00 pods. Also, the "crossover network" is a 12 cent cap. Someone likes to exaggerate a LOT!! Replacing the speakers with something real. Probably avoid these if you have any power. ... show more

Very nice quality and very nice sound. Really clear! Only complaint is the rest mounting bracket is all plastic and I had one tap spin in the plastic when trying to remove the bolt. I got it out and it works fine now. For the money these are some really great speakers and I do recommend them to anyone! ... show more

Sound good for the price. I have them installed on my 16 xp 1000. only had one scare after washing my machine, they would make a static noise and not play any sound. (No I did not soak them, or spray them directly) after I blowed them out with an air hose they worked fine again.

I'm powering these with a Rockford Fostgate 4 channel 300 watt\ the amp has the ability to use it as a 2 channel amp and that's how i have it set up, i'm also using a MTX MUDbtrc controller connected to the amp and Bluetooth to my phone Let's start with the good, the speakers sound amazing, audio is clear as day and the bass is actually really good, far better than i expected. install was decently simple. Took the rzr out this past weekend and all my friends were impressed with sound quality. they held up really well on the trails and the water and dust/dirt didn't effect them at all. so A+ the only bad thing about them is the foot long bolts that they come with, they stick out way to far ( see pics ) now i have to cut the 8 bolts shorter, there is no need for them to be that long,is someone trying to mount these to telephone poles? do i recommend these? absolutely ... show more
