This item fits tightly into the factory plastic slot, just insert the tiny circuit board into the #194 bulb socket and you're done. Very bright and the red lines look better than you think, because I was skeptical being so inexpensive.

I installed these on the rear bumper of a 2005 Toyota Tacoma and they work and look great. I have had them installed for roughly 2 weeks now - it has rained on them with no issues. The LED lighting does a great job at lighting up the rear plate. The red accents on the exterior of them are illuminated as well and adds a nice touch.
