I was a little nervous about purchasing a brand that isn't JBL or Bose but this speaker has been great so far. We've had it for a few months with no problems. Battery lasts and the sound is great. It is a little heavy as far as carrying up and down stairs or outside but it's got a big handle for ease. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something at a better price. ... show more

Best Boom for Your Buck!!! I have used Altec Xtremes for 7yrs. They were amazing and indestructible, but they have finally died. I replaced them with this for a fraction of the cost. This is not weatherproof, waterroof, floats, etc but the sound is amazing for the price! Crisp, clear, and just right bass. Remote and mps cord included. The dials, phone holder, inputs, and handle are all ideal. I am very satisfied! I hope it lasts as long as the Altecs. Update: cons: lights come on when powered on and can only be controlled by remote ALSO speaker cannot be powered ON by remote, ONLY OFF. ... show more

This speaker kicks a#$. Amazing sounds long battery life great bass to it to I use it to work out in our gym and it's plenty loud. Would definitely get another one

    • Prime example of why you choose quality over price
I ordered this last night and it showed up this afternoon! I was expecting it to arrive till next week. Who could ask for anything more? As far as performance goes, this thing really packs a punch. I would go as far to say, that it gives the jbl partybox 110 a run for its money at more than half the cost. 5 month update.... the speaker stopped taking a charge and does not power on. I've emailed rockville and even called to try and use the manufacturers warranty. I am now at the mercy of rockvilles customer and technical service teams which dont seam to be very eager to assist me. My buddy has the jbl partybox 10 and has had it a couple months longer than I've had the rockville. The charge and the sound quality still holding up and this thing get put through b the ringer. Cheaper isnt always better I guess..... ... show more
