This stand worked perfectly to mount a projector 10ft high. The heavy base made it surprisingly stable even at that height. The included, tiltable pole-mounted tray with velcro elastic straps secured the projector and allowed easy adjustments to project onto a wall or onto the floor. The carrying bags are typical short-term Rockville bag quality that deteriorate with frequent use. I am happy with this stand. I will replace my heavy-duty 10ft tripod with this. Great quality stands! Love that you can use them for your DJ speakers or lights. They are very sturdy and feel safe using them for my equipment. I must advise that they do come in BIG boxes 📦. Would recommend.

As mentioned before in other reviews, the packaging is big but these babies were protected. No problems with their original shipping packaging. When I got them out, they are heavy, but not cumbersome. They feel very well built. The stand is a space saver for crowded areas, walkways, stages, etc. I have personally purchased some black sandbags to reinforce its base weight a little bit. I can't afford anything going wrong as my speakers are my livelyhood. They are excellent all around and are enough support for my Yamaha DZR12s (which are heavy) One of its best qualities is the assisted "drop". It will not let the speaker drop hard. If that makes sense. 😂 Very easy to set up. Just screw in the threaded pole and voila! You can adjust the height to a ridiculous height. I don't think I ever will, but it's good to know I can if I need to. I will update this if anything changes but so far these are WELL worth the money. ... show more

Wow! Much bigger, heavier, and awesome than expected. If you order these be ready for a huge box! I ordered a pair and when the boxes came, I thought maybe I ordered two pairs by accident. Each box looked big enough to hold a pair of them. I love the push button for adjusting the heights that click for each height setting. The air cushioning works very well - no more pinched fingers/hands from these for sure. The projector platform/holder attachment that comes with these will come in handy, and all the zippered cases that come with these are great as well - not too small where you can barely fit things in them. These even come with Velcro straps for wire management along the poles. I couldn’t be happier with these. If your thinking of these kinds of speaker stands, go for it.
