Not only did it work like advertised, but the channels are super clear, and I was able to travel a large room and not lose signal with the microphone. The Bluetooth works good also but my Bose wireless system would not accept it as a two-way Bluetooth, only as an audio out. No issue with the system, just my Bose as Bose is a very picky system. No problem, though, just hooked it up to my amp and use my amp to project the voices. Works great I am using it for a home. I bought it in January this year. In the past 3 months we used it for only 2~3 times, about one hour each time. Today when we used it, we found channel B no longer works, even we replaced the batteries with the brand new ones. I will contact the manufacturer for a solution..... Update: I am changing to 5 star because Rockville Audio responded quickly, and they are shipping a replacement microphone to me! I am very satisfied. ... show more

This amplifier offers great value for money and features a microphone reception and mixing system. It also includes optical audio input, making it easy to set up a speaker system. However, I must say that the sound quality is average, and the multi-channel surround sound effect is quite poor, making it hard to notice any surround sound capabilities. I have used various brands of subwoofers and front/rear speakers, so I'm not sure if that's why the compatibility isn't ideal. Easy to set up, works great until i started using the microphone. In order to hear anything from the speakers, you need get the volume much higher, or put the microphone in your lips, otherwise if you put the microphone close to the mouth (But not touching the lips, you cant hear anything.
