The media could not be loaded. Had a Sony system prior with amp, sub and 6.5 speakers. Upgraded to the Rockville system, 5 channel amp, 8" tower speakers for rears, still used 2-sony 6.5 with 2 Rockville 6.5 speakers for the fronts and a Rockville 10" sub and it is amazing. I spent about $800 for everything including wire and can't believe the quality, crystal clear sound and thumping bass. Jeff at Rockville took the time to help me configure everything so I could install this without paying a professional. He helped with every detail, never hesitated for a second. I sent 3 or more emails with questions which he answered every question in detail promptly. He also explained how to tune the amp which I was concerned at first I might need a pro, but turned out to be simple with the instructions Jeff supplied. I cranked up the system to the point I couldn't hear another person talk and still had more to go. No point of hurting it so I give it 5 stars. Just for a comparison, the Sony system I put years ago cost double and only had 2 speakers, 1 sub and a 4 channel amp. I will definitely be using Rockville from now on. As far as quality of the speakers, I thoroughly inspected them and the materials and craftsmanship is as good as speakers that are 4 times as much money. They cone materials and everything else looked no different than the Sony speakers which cost double of the Rockville speakers. Thanks Jeff and everyone at Rockville/Audio Savings. I just installed it, and it seems like a quality product. Yes its big, but I had the room, the extra punch on the subwoofer channel is very effective.

Just what I wanted. 4 stars because the way the screw hole works it is easy to jam the screw into the hole, and not be able to actually screw it in. I have one side that I had to mount alternately, because the screw stripped in the hole.... They are not holes but chambers, and with stainless screws, if it falls to the side, it will try to screw into plastic/ metal... And not the board behind. Otherwise....work great, great sound.

worked for about 1/2 hour before failing - whine from the alternator very loud. Replaced with a new amp and it was fine.... - warranty process is a joke - already removed and told them exactly what was wrong - kept asking me more questions about why it failed (after it was removed)! Warranty dept told me they needed more information because I bought through Amazon- was already there right on the same email chain! They told me that they would have an answer on resolution after they received the item, then 5 working days - its been 7 "working days" after they acknowledged receipt with no answer and the Boating season is officially over.

Scope test and tektronix AA501 thd analyzer confirms its specs. Didn't test noise floor but seems pretty good when listening with my 60 amp supply and a kicker tube 2 ohm sub. Not quite the Sunfire sub ( 1.5kw ) but damn does it hit. This amp delivers and running with a tube preamp and polk audio speakers during test sounded impressive. All for a boat.

Product as advertised except the PA microphone feature. If your buying to use this option I’d rethink the purchase. The the mic is cheap and there is no gain or other adjustments to make it function correctly. My opinion the PA feature is useless. I’m running 4 channels, 8 full range speakers and a sub, it sounds great. More amp that my speakers can handle so it’s throttled back considerably. Like most amps it runs fairly hot, mount it in area that has reasonable circulation. 4 stars due to PA feature.
