    • Rockville 15” DVC 4 ohm Subwoofer K9 Series
The media could not be loaded. Purchased a pair of these to swap out with the original 15” driver that Rockville uses in their RBG powered subwoofer series. I did the same thing with the RBG10S 10” powered subs swapped out the original driver with their Rockville 10” DVC 2 ohm K9 series and the result was mind blowing. I ended up having to install two 2.5” cooling fans in each enclosure to keep the plate amps from overheating causing the unit to go into protect mode and shut off. The modifications worked out superbly. Those two little 10’s have excellent range from driving punchy bass to deep pumping thumping wall shaking bass. So i figure I do the same with the 15’s. The result is a 15” middle of the road powered subwoofer that outperforms big name brands like JBL, EV, Mackie, QSC that cost about a third to half the price. I posted a video for proof listen on a good system or earbuds and you’ll hear the sound. Volume is only on 3 on the sun and halfway on the mixer so not even close to Mac and the pair was shaking my house. I’ve used them in a couple of gigs outdoor/ indoor strictly for bass and bass drums I was blown away so were the musicians specifically the bass players and the drummers. I haven’t really pushed them to hard yet I’m slowly breaking them in so far so good no issues with overheating. A couple more gigs and I’ll be able to push it close to the limit I’ll keep you guys posted. For now so far so good, highly recommend. ... show more

Updated review. Speakers are really good for the price but they DO NOT handle the 1200 watts like it says. I have it connected to a 2000watt sundown. And coils start smoking when I bump it too loud. Once again really good speaker for the price but not for wattage. Since I can't afford another set I'm making sure to use these speakers wisely . . Lol. Another update purchased in March 2019. Almost two years later and still bumping preety hard. I have them connected to a 5000 watt black ice amplifier. ... show more
