Wore them once so far for about a 8-Hour job. Work great on the ladders and didn't slip on the roof so I can't complain. I usually take a 12 and a half, I ordered the 12 and it felt small but the 13 fit great. I'm very happy with these boots. Very comfortable.

One of these boots ate into my lower shin, very painful. Thus, the 4 star rating. The front tongue of one of the boots was pointed at, and was stiff enough to make a bruised spot. It did not wear the skin away to cause an open wound. Over time the boot softened and my shin toughened to where it's not an issue anymore. So...if you can get these to your door for 60% of a Redback then maybe. They are a close approximation of ubbk's with a few caveates. Theses may be clones of the ubbk but the liner and included insole really take up some realestate inside. Mine are not broke in yet and the insole is replaced with a thinner gel product. The build quality is decent. Once donning yonder boot It takes 10 min or so to get the lining at the ankle to relinquish its brutal stranglehold but after that their not too bad. They'er fairly close to RB's but if your expecting that "very old friend" experience on your foot go for the real ubbk. Will update in 6 mo or so..... ... show more

I'm a automotive technician and normally wore RedBacks. But during the pandemic I couldn't find a pair of them without paying over 200.00 bucks for them. I refused to pay that. I was hesitant to buy these, but let me assure you I will not go back to RedBack. I was blown away on how comfortable these boots are. This work boots is extremely comfortable after the break in period. During the break in, it hurts my shins when I was driving. You know when you constantly lift up and press down the gas and breaks pedals. The sole is so soft and it has some kind of special cushioning. So far I have not yet wear any work boot has that kind of cushioning similar to Rockroaster. I am a big fan of Dr. MARTEN, I thought it makes the most comfortable work boots in the market , but now I will have a change of heart. I think I will buy another pairs when this one worn out. ... show more
