Given the bad reviews maybe we got lucky. But this came in a day and a half, just in time to set it up for my parents before having to fly back to the other coast. It's heavy and very sturdy. Many people complained of no instructions but they are easy to miss in the big box (10 pages- comes in a manila envelope 8X11- look for it, it is not with the hardware). It would be a nightmare without instructions but with them, all the parts large and small are marked with a number and the corresponding instructions tell you exactly what to do with visuals and how many of each part you will need step by step. You could do it with one person but two makes it even easier. The doors are adjustable and if you know how to adjust the hinges it's simple. We did not have to make many adjustments for them to hang evenly (all quality hinges are made with this adjustment). Given that real wood is hard to find anywhere and certainly not at this price, I am very happy with the way this MDF/ laminate looks. It's great in the chocolate, in other words it does not look cheap and it will probably wear pretty well. I hate paying over $100 for MDF products- but this is a fair price for what is available in general. Very happy with this, I will try to post pictures later. ... show more

This is the worst product I have purchased from Amazon. It was hard to tell from the photo and description just how cheaply made this product would be. It looks terrible and cheap in person and is NOT worth the price they are selling it AT ALL! One of the door hinges came totally bent and damaged and I didn't get to that piece until the very end of building it. I was able to hammer it flat so I could use it but even after fixing it the doors do not hang right and it just looks terrible. It does not look like wood. It looks like fake laminate. Everything about this product is cheap and crappy. I don't even think I could return it either without spending the time to take it all apart. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!! ... show more

    • Best "faux" furniture piece ever!

I had modest expectations when I ordered this piece of furniture. I mix in "ready to assemble" accents with some solid wood authentic Mexican furniture. I simply wanted a decent looking corner TV stand and the Dark Chocolate looked like it would blend so I ordered it when the price dropped. After reading some of the reviews, I expected a tricky assembly. The directions were so simple and the design and look are even more impressive. Unlike some "knock down" furniture, even the back piece is substantial. Once assembled, it actually looks like real wood! It makes me want to replace my other "knock down" accents. Suggestions: I turned it on each side when attaching each door and didn't tighten screws until I knew it would line up well. Also, I wrapped a little tape around the pegs that the shelves rest on so that fit snug in the holes. It turned out great and I'm still in awe at how it looks! I haven't seen better for the money and I'll be looking into other pieces that this brand offers. ... show more

Great tv stand. It came with each piece of wood and hardware plainly labeled. The predrilled holes were also accurate. The instructions were easy to follow. It looks simple and classy. Very sturdy. I also liked that the back panel is screwed in instead of nailed.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product. The quality of this product for the price is great. This is a nice wood stand. I was surprised how heavy the box was to move into my house. Directions for assembly were super easy to follow. I was able to put it together myself, but I would say getting the top on was a little tricky. But I was able to align everything on my own. I also stacked some items under the doors as I was installing them to help keep it up. The color says milk chocolate, but was more of a dark cherry color, which was exactly what I wanted. ... show more

I’ve been looking for the right TV stand in my living room.... Found it. Got it in the mahogany brown color...beautiful. It's a sturdy piece, and was easy to put it together. It took me 1 hour put together. It's not real wood, but it's finished and textured to feel like it, and no one will tell the difference when sitting next to my JBL speakers. Got a 55" on it with plenty of room to spare and McIntosh amplifier. Great looking piece, would recommend it to anyone who looking to upgrade from those standard TV stands we all had, or for the larger flat screens 55"-60". I will give 5 stars overall. ... show more

A big, high, beautiful TV stand. I've only had it up for about 2 hours but it's supporting my 65 inch TV and appears to be good to go. If it wobbles a little prior to securing the included back board, don't worry... Firmly attach the back board and it will fix the wobble if it has the same result as when I attached it.
