  • this is a great little practice amp!
Size: 20 Watt
The RockJam 20 watt amp is perfect for those times you don't want to drag out your main amp or don't have the time to. The 3-band eq (treble-midrange-bass) makes it possible to get just the right sound . It actually does have 20 watts of power as advertised, perfect for practice sessions but not for stage use. I am a professional musician and consider this to be a handy piece of equipment to add to my gear. My only suggestion would be for them to add a basic reverb or echo effect in addition to (or in place of) the overdrive circuit, but for the money, this little amp puts out a nice sound! ... show more

  • Buy it for what it is....
Size: 20 Watt
In true fashion, my review is based on using a product for what it's built and marketed for. I bought this for my son's eDrum kit that he uses for practice and learning between lessons. He usually uses headphones, but occasionally likes to play over the amp so we can hear his playing and progress. It is an inexpensive, entry-level amp. It works perfect for that use. What I didn't buy it for was to use on professional gigs or thinking a 20 watt amp would be a hard-core amplifier. I also read reviews prior to purchasing items and get annoyed when someone gives a poor review to a product based on unrealistic uses and expectations. Such as a review saying they didn't get a "heavy-metal sound" out of this $39 amp and then proclaiming you should instead buy a $400 BOSS Katana amp. Apples and oranges. I didn't need a $400 amp. If I did, I certainly wouldn't be shopping for amps in the thirty dollar range. I needed a basic practice amp for entry-level use. If you purchase this $39 amp expecting a Fender, Marshall or "BOSS Katana" amp then you will be disappointed. It's not a concert or gigging amp. Anyway, it has decent sound for its price-point, variable audio settings, takes a 1/4" input jack and loud-enough for a guitar or eDrum small room practice amp. NOTE: I purchased this item on Amazon for full price and have no affiliation to the seller. I try to write helpful, unbiased and insightful reviews because I also read reviews prior to making my own buying decisions. I notice many reviews lack helpful information, are not well written or give poor reviews based on not reading directions, failing to read the product details prior to purchasing or someone's inexperience or lack of skill. Writing valuable reviews helps pay it forward. ... show more

  • LOUD..!!
Size: 20 Watt
The media could not be loaded. For the price you can't go wrong. And believe me when I say this little amp can pack a punch. The sound I heard when making the video is way better then the sound in the video. It does take a little practice to get a good guitar & amp volume blend. Sometimes if you got your guitar volume is all the way up and the amp volume down it will distort, it's almost like sometimes it can't handle powerful pickups, but if you turn the amp volume all the up and your guitar volume down it sounds great. You just have to experiment a little till you get the volume and sound you want. So far it's a keeper ... show more

  • The price for a powerful amplifier!!!
Size: 20 Watt
Y not give a try, I bought this to use with a Caramel Electric Ukulele. Let me tell u this amp is loud, very clear no distortion with the gain on low. The ukulele sounds like a guitar already. If u are looking for something for the kiddos or to play around with, for $35 really, u can't go wrong!!! ROCKJAM is the right name for this amplifier!!! ... show more

  • UPDATED - Great at first...
Size: 20 Watt
I don't use amps anymore, just use a guitar multi-effects pedal unit. However, I still like to plug in and jam along to backing tracks. This little cheap amp is just right for what I want. Out of the box... yep, made of very cheap materials. It doesn't need to be tough to sit on my shelf. The knobs are decent, but the number labels are oddly placed. Not that we actually pay attention. The Gain is pretty crunchy, in a good way. Treb, Mid, and Bass work well too. The main volume is pretty consistent and fairly smooth. I have not cranked it up over 6 yet. So, unsure when it breaks up. The speaker puts out pretty good sound quality. I would highly recommend this amp to any beginner or really anyone who doesn't need fancy equipment just to jam out solo. Now, we shall see how long it lasts.... UPDATE - March 29, 2024 - It suddenly started squealing with a lot of distortion (not added effect) and then only buzzy fuzz. Time to look for a new amp to jam on... ... show more

  • Alright but not great for bass
Size: 20 Watt
I was able to get the amp for almost half the price during black Friday which I would say made this amp worth its money. The price that it is now I would definitely not recommend purchasing it at. I have no experience hooking this up to a guitar but in the past month or so that I have owned this I noticed that whenever I played multiple strings at once on my bass the amp would vibrate, and it would sound a little off. On bass you don't have to strike multiple strings often, so it is fine for my everyday use. So, to sum it up, I would say this amp is great for beginners but not as great if you want to do literally anything else with your instrument. Oh yeah also that cool little boost button.? Literally just increases the sound. Nothing more. ... show more

  • I love it.
Size: 20 Watt
It's amazing, Loud, easy to use, and small!! It's cheap and beginner friendly ( coming from a beginner ) <3. I don't have experience from other amps but I think it's good. It comes with a power cord but not a guitar cord, Only down side lol. But I got a cord for 9.99- So it's fine. <33 I love it!!
