2 part review. Review of installation in this particular vehicle and review of speakers themselves. 1. For those with a Chevy Express work Van: The speaker is too big in every way despite it being the correct size specified that we need. I had to take some metal snips and cut some metal out around the holes for the speakers in the door for them to physically fit. Not a big deal. What does kinda stink is that they are also too deep. What does that mean? They physically fit but the windows will not not go al the way down. The last 1/3 of the way- the window hits the speaker and stops. Note that my windows are Automatic if that matters. Not a big deal for me, and here is why: 2. I recently had a Sony Touchscreen Apple CarPlay radio installed by a local shop. I noticed a vast improvement in sound quality with just the radio. But when I installed these RFs... dude. I highly recommend you go into advanced EQ and set your bass and treble HZ higher because these speakers love it. The Highs are crystal clear and the lows are fantastic (deep, sustaining, and powerful-without being too “punchy”). I can only imagine what these would sound like in a well insulated vehicle with an amplifier pushing them. But for this work van, it has far surpassed my expectations. Any music sounds phenomenal and I find myself re-listening to all my music just to hear what all I have been missing. Verdict: despite the extra burden on the install and the loss of the last 1/3 of my windows ability to go down, these speakers are simply worth it. I have had many custom systems in several vehicles and as far as clarity and depth of sound- these are the nicest speakers I have ever owned. ... show more

Landed on these speakers after buying 2 other sets i wasn't happy with. Trust me.. spend the money you won't regret it. Sound quality is amazing only using aftermarket headunit, no amp. I imagine they sound even better with an amp. When installing i had to have the speakers rotated a certain way or the door panel wouldn't pop on all the way, it was a tight fit. Also the connection terminals are oversized, normal speaker connections didn't work I had to find more connectors for them to hook up. The negative terminal was the normal size of the positive and the positive was even bigger. Didn't even know they made speakers with oversized terminals. Crazy! ... show more

So i'm overall content with the quality of the audio on the speakers... They do what decent full range speakers should do A nice rich sound thats not too bass or high tenner thats what tweeters are for... however in my jeep there's already a set of tweeters that are better rated than whats in here the combined sound is fantastic... However There was that hitch of not including instillation mounting brackets properly knowing they are a 6 inch speaker NOT a 6.75.... infact the mounting hardware is for a 6.5 This right off the bat is frustrating as they were listed as 6.75... Some gold plated connector pins later on all four sides and i finnally was able to test... I did not realize there were harnesses involved my 89 honda did not have them when i last installed speakers... ... show more

*FYI* Need to buy a 6 1/2"to 5 1/4" spacers for the doors. Don't factory fit 2010 Subaru Legacy. Fantastic sounf with the stock head unit, but they really don't come alive till you add an amp. Wow, fantastic sound. Hi, miss and lows. If it didn't already have subs to hook up. I would be fine. I now have my music adjusted for the subs. I'm done. Now I need dyno mat. Unbelievable sound. Now let's see how long the speakers last. I bought the Amazon warranty with these. Just in case. I don't think there is to much of anything and not enough of something else. They truly are perfect for what I want. ... show more

I replaced the factory speakers with 4 of these and power them off a 4channel amp with about 100 watts rms each and they are extremely loud and clear .

Installed in my 2002 GMC Sierra Ext Cab. Speakers sound great, I first ran them with head unit and they sounded good and than I installed them on a 4 channel amp and wow big difference. Either way they are great speakers worth the money.
