Description

The Punch PBR400X4D is a full-range 4-channel amplifier that is small enough to fit in just about any application but packs a Punch with 400 Watts RMS of power! The BRT (Boosted Rail Technology) allows the PBR400X4D to be compact and efficient while providing power on demand. The BRT also has a variable hi-level DC offset turn-on circuit for easy installation into any OEM system. Our integrated level setting technology called C.L.E.A.N (Calibrated Level Eliminates Audible Noise) helps to quickly setup the amp output controls by removing the guesswork & eliminating any speaker damaging distortion. This amp is ideal for UTVs, motorcycles, or compact mobile installs, not only because of its size, but because it doesn’t suck a lot of juice from your electrical system. The amplifier will accept both speaker level and RCA level signal types through the same inputs, allowing it to be integrated into OEM and aftermarket systems alike. This versatility makes the amplifier perfect for a wide variety of installations and vehicles Installation flexibility is improved by the addition of dual, selectable high pass crossovers. My music used to drown out at 40 mph on my Harley. I have the Rockford Fosgate head unit, 4- 5.25" speakers and 2- 6x9 speakers. The install was clean and easy. The amp size was perfect. My music is now louder and more clear than ever. The input and output clip settings are in the amp. I did not have to buy a sine wave meter. I just cannot believe the sound!! I have been a fosgate guy for years . Super suprised with the power of this little amp and it is small enough to go anywhere . I use it on my 2015 dyna powering 2 full rage 6 inch fosgate speakers . Works perfectly

I had the same amp on my last street glide. Loved it so much I bought the same one for my new bike. Easy install and very user friendly for people like me who don't have a doctorate in audio engineering. Paired with some Rockford Fosgate 6.5s. Very powerful and great/clear sound at any speed.

    • Massive volume increase!
Installed this in a 2012 Harley Ultra, and paired with Harley stock radio (25w/channel), Hogtunes 2 ohm 6.5 front speakers (had to modify 5.25 mounts in batwing for them to fit), and 4 ohm 6x9 Polks in the saddle bag lids. I was amazed at the distortionless volume increase! Can hear the system clearly at highway speeds. The set up was straight forward but I didn’t receive the test tone cd needed to set the gains. There are multiple websites with free test tones that you can download to your smart phone or cd (in my case) or just set up with music from your radio. Also, the “auto-on” feature that was supposed to work with line-out setups with the radio didn’t, so I had to connect the “REM” input on the amp to a 12v source (cigarette lighter in my case), to get the amp to power up. Not a big deal, but just an extra step. Only have used this for about a month, so not sure of long term reliability but so far, it’s great! ... show more
