Absolutely pleased with this system. While the price is a little high everything was worth the money. It is Rockford Fosgate after all. Sounds incredible Speakers look great and install was pretty simple. Everything fit perfect. All connectors were right on. One minor complaint is the instructions were very vague so pay close attention to what you are doing. Don't forget to have the stock radio flashed because if not it will damage the speakers. Harley set the Eq very high to get better sound of the stock cheap speakers and it will not work with this high powered system. Very highly recommended. ... show more

The install was a fun project and well worth the wait. The instructions aren't very useful but there are plenty of YouTube videos out there that explain it almost entirely step by step. I installed this on a 2018 Roadglide and can hear music at 80 mph with no issues. It is more treble and miss than bass, but I am completely happy with the 2 front speaker and amp install. ... show more

    • Was hoping for better sound overall, very disappointing.
Overall, louder and better sound than stock. And granted, only 2 speakers pumping sound. But for the cost of the kit + installation at the dealer, not to mention the ratings…do not think the cost/value is there. These kits are 5 Star everywhere I look. I expected the change to really impress me, but I’m not impressed at all. I’m actually disappointed. I’m not some super sensitive audio guy. I simply appreciate good sound. And with the ratings I’ve seen, I expected to be “wowed” and I am not ! Not in the least. That being said, I figured ok, something must not be set correctly. It can’t be this highly rated with this result. I contacted Rockford (2x) stating the same I’m writing here, not any help other than a reply supporting the sound design is to combat wind, road noise, etc etc. nah, I’ve heard kits sound way better. This is not a flash issue, that’s been confirmed. It’s purely the fact that the crispness, and lack of bass are just disappointing for a nearly $1500 upgrade. Maybe I should have researched more and not relied on the rating so much, that’s on me. But for a kit that is so well known, I’m super disappointed. I’ll keep looking for a solution to the adjustments, if there is one, and update here should I find it. There is an app that is supposed to connect Bluetooth to the Rockford amp and allow more adjusting in the EQ. But I have yet to figure it out, not even sure mine came with the dongle that does that. What I dislike is that you need to buy the DRS1 they tell you have to get the bike flashed once you do that you lose the EQ so what you do as you get the digital processor that ROCKFORD Makes ..And download their app called PerfectTune allows you to control the sound of your bike makes a huge difference other than that I’m happy camper ... show more
