Works exceptionally well. I have a 1988 GMC C1500 that I converted from TBI to carb. I just had to find the right intake manifold to fit everything. This bolted right up and the connections for my linkage fit perfectly. After a few minor adjustments it fired right up and ran perfectly.

Bolted on my Pontiac Olds engine with no issues. '79 Firebird Trans am is running smooth. Had it installed in minutes. No adjustments were necessary. The quality is good because a new carb that fires up so flawlessly from the box without tinkering on it is a great value. As Although we were concerned with mold like substance on the gaskets and outside of the carb we forgot all about it when this baby fired up first time. I would buy again and recommend

Bolted it straight onto an old 350 and it started up first try with zero issues whatsoever. No air or fuel leaks, well tuned and runs like a sewing machine. I was a bit skeptical at first because the casting looked a little rough on the outside, but going from that clapped out old carb to this one literally solved every single issue we had with that old car. Really impressive you can bolt in a replacement and go at this price range. Super stoked with how well it worked out. Can definitely recommend this one as a suitable and quality replacement part.

Worked with this 4-BBL carburetor for about a week on a small block Chevy setup, and it’s performed reliably once tuned. The unit bolted up cleanly without modification, and all mounting points and linkage lined up as expected. The electric choke responded smoothly, which made cold starts easier during early tests. I'm working on rebuilding an old truck, and replacing the carb seemed like a good idea. Overall kind of this seems like a decent replacement car. Everything inside seems clean and well machined, and all the moving aparts appear to function as they should. I do have a couple small concerns. First, there's a bit of what appears to be mold on the outside of one of the carb or gaskets. I'm not sure exactly what it is, but it's something that appears to have grown there at some point after this car was manufactured. Could it have been stored and an environment that was too damp? I don't know. I'll clean it off well, and thankfully I don't see much of this on the secondly, some of the flathead screws appear to be partially stripped at the time of installation. Maybe I'm old-fashioned, but I believe that when buying a brand new part, it should be in a pristine condition, not damaged by whoever assembled it. Maybe that's just me being picky, though.

This carburetor is of good quality and ready to install. Tuning may be required based on buyer's car setup. For optimal performance, it's advised to have a qualified mechanic to install and tune it. The size of jets are pre-installed: Main jet: 190, Idle jet: 120, Auxiliary Venturi: 7mm; Venturi (Choke tube):31.7mm, Air correction jets: 190, Needle valve: 3.3.
