I've made a number of these minature kits from various companies. This one comes with materials that are very difficult to work with. I make these to relax but due to the difficulty maneuvering the materials provided, it has become a stresser.

    • This was a little bit of a challenge with the amount of DIY, but no less cute!
I always recommend that anyone who buys these kits have their own tools (glue, file, precision tools). Also, be careful when handling any of the wooden pieces as they can break if you apply too much pressure to them. If the break is not too bad then a little glue goes a long way towards fixing them. This kit was particularly challenging so I encourage to go slowly and enjoy the project, but make sure that you have extra glue on hand. I loved this kit and the result was extremely cute, but it took a while to make sure that I was doing things correctly and did not tear or break anything. ... show more

Ok.. so where to begin. First of all this thing will try your patience. Some pieces are so small I gave up so many times. It took me 6months to put together. I don't have time to work on it everyday. The directions are a Lil hard to work with,but once you get going it gets a Lil better. I found it easier to use regular clear Elmer's glue to glue the paper pieces together instead of the glue they give you bc it's more like that E 6000. Now I did use that glue for the wooden pieces bc it has a stronger hold than Elmer's. I recommend getting an exacto knife to cut out the Itty bitty stuff.. scissors are too big. As you can see some of my items are too big. But hey, it was my first time. I messed up a couple things but overall I think it looks pretty darn good considering it was my first. I did mess up the lights so I will just get lil fairy lights to put in it later. Overall I am satisfied with it. Already ordered 2 more. The study and the garden. Looking forward to putting them together. I do recommend this it was fun. Sometimes aggravating but still fun. I hope the pics help out! Good day yall ... show more
