I bought each of my daughter's one of these bubble surprise dolls for Christmas, and they loved them. Make sure to remove the pastic from inside the ball before adding the warm water, or it won't work. We did these in the bathtub to make it easier to cleanup, and so they could see it easier. I bought 2 of these for my 9 and 5 years olds. We received them yesterday and the only time they've stopped playing with them is when they went to sleep. They're tiny which I find to be more appealing the my daughter's because they aren't the typical LOL doll size. We are not fans of the foaming bubble part as it is a quick thing and being that she is 4 and I am "older" we couldn't quite figure it out. She loves these little dolls and the bubbles didn't really ruin her experience. Pieces are small and hard for young fingers (and old ones).
