I bought this for my 92 year old mother who is having problems getting around her retirement community. She is the envy of the place. Love how it folds down into such a small footprint. Everybody is calling it a ninja turtle. The company has called several times and has emailed a lot to make sure everything is going good. Product is wonderful, weight is easy for my spouse and I to load in truck. Have had to charge battery yet, so that last quite awhile. Controls are very easy. No assembly was required, just take out of box. Quite satisfied.

My father-in-law loves this scooter, it is very simple to operate for him, which was important. It stops on a dime, also very important for him. The turning radius is amazing. The only issue we have had, is the wear on the back tires, we fill like they should of held up a bit longer.

I receive compliments on my wheelchair almost every time I go out. So I stop discuss the features and/or what the brand name is. I bought the ROBOOTER® X40 because my son bought an SUV. My other wheelchair that I've had sine around 2006 wouldn't fold up low enough to go in the car. it also required a 9-foot portable ramp to get it in and out of the vehicle. I found the ROBOOTER® X40 on Amazon. It's the most marvelous thing I've ever purchased. The ROBOOTER® X40 Intelligent Electric Powered Wheelchair Device has a small panel of buttons right next to the driver knob, to control the wheelchair. It even folds down for stowing in the rear of the car. It weighs around 90 lbs. Just pick it up in the rear and place it. No ramp necessary for us. The battery is rechargeable and lasts a long time for the way I use it. I highly recommend the OBOOTER® X40 Intelligent Electric Powered Wheelchair. It's cool, classy and convenient.

Buying this chair was a HUGE mistake. For the money, I would expect a much better quality product. Have owned this chair less than 2 years and I am about to order my second set of front wheels, the bearings go out. None of the repair shops will work on this particular scooter and of course they have no one in the area. Shipping is not an option, this is a heavy chair and let’s face it, if you are in a wheelchair, going without it isn’t an option. I was fortunate to get my car mechanic to help me repair it, this is not something I could repair myself. I have called every repair shop within a hundred mile radius and NO ONE will service this chair. The joy stick is broken and the seat cushion is cheap and definitely doesn’t hold up with daily use ( thin fabric that frays easily). I was initially excited about the chairs capability to load itself into my vehicle with the use of ramps - that particular feature NEVER worked. As soon as the chair starts up the ramp it starts to repeat “tilting - tilting - tilting” and refuses to move forward on the ramps. This is my first electric wheelchair purchase and unfortunately it was a poor choice. This is an expensive chair and just isn’t worth the hassle. Do yourself a favor and keep looking. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PURCHASE.

I upgraded my powerchair to this very impressive and stylish product. I used the chair at our neighborhood crimewatch meeting. I parked the chair and walked about 15 or 20 foot away, intentionally that is lol. An ADT representative was talking about the installation of a new security system. I used my Galaxy Z-Fold 5 phone which controls the chair with perfection. The chair had to be left powered on for the show to begin. I was being offered a seat as I am wearing a back brace and a knee brace. I told them that my seat is already on the way to me. I let the chair down as I got off it. From across the street, as everyone was scattered all over the street safely mind you under the watch of our cities finest police departments supervision. I proceeded to move the chair towards me and heads turned trying to figure out how and what was going on lol. I guided the chair to me, done a full 360, backed the chair up and hit the unfold control button. The chair was wowed and complimented as I temporarily stole the attention from the ADT representative whom continued to speak and also watch the chair in action as it slowly made it's way to me. Very impressive and has a stylish slick look, you all have outdone yourselves. Thank you for the opportunity to experience this great quality of a product with its smooth functions. This thing is great. None of them are light enough for me to lift them in and out of my car on a regular basis. This one is light enough to carry on a light carrier and heavy enough to be very stable in use. The support is great. The batteries are too expensive, but they give you the big one free just to get you to sign up. It was expensive but is well worth the cost. Addendum: After 2 or 3months, I still like this very much. The sellers really want buyers to be satisfied. They have called and e-mailed me several times to see if I was satisfied. On a hard surface floor (not carpet) it will spin around in its own length. In carpet it takes a little longer. On high power setting, it will go 3 mph, but is still stable. On high setting there is plenty of power. It is a wheelchair but makes a pretty fair scooter too. No, they did not pay me to write this. I like the control lever, but there are too many buttons.

While this wheelchair looks cool it has some problems. I’ve had mine for a year. It doesn’t handle pile carpet well. Same for grass and gravel. It works best on smooth floors. If sidewalks have cracks that are not the normal straight across cracks the wheels don’t do well. You loose some control over them. Slanting sidewalks can’t cause you to slip sideways. It is good for collapsing and driving up a ramp to get it into the trunk or back of an SUV. Other wheelchairs often have the front wheels collapse as well, which doesn’t work on ramps. It definitely made for the lighter person. A heavy person gets less responsive actions, like turning at a low speed. I have had mine to just stop working. So far turning it off and back on has made it recover and function. For the price you pay for this it should work better and be more reliable. Small kids love the wheels and you have to be careful that they don’t run up and touch the wheels while maneuvering through crowds. I have osteoarthritis and the seat isn’t soft enough. I require soft but firm seats. Had to get a pillow for the seat and the back. I’m already tall and the chair is tall so I’m very much heads above the rest. Tall makes it easier to get in and out of but you can’t just pull up to a table in a restaurant. My knees don’t go under the table. Even if I take my feet off the foot rest my knees are still too high. I hope this information helps you in making your decision on purchasing it. I got it because of its availability to collapse and go up the ramp into my SUV. I have now purchased a older wheelchair van. This wheelchair is not made to have the bolt that goes into the Q-Lock in vans. It does slide all around in the van and isn’t handy to use the look down hooks. It’s not the worst wheelchair but it also isn’t the best.

After approximately a year and a half of use, this is Jenn’s review: “My robooter chair has been a game changer in my day to day and given me so much independence on the go! I am unable to stand for more than 15 or 20 minutes or walk long distances and the Robooter has allowed me to do things so much easier. From grocery shopping, football games, band competitions, and traveling. It's ease of use, ability to move in tight spaces, the omni directional wheels for off roading, and folding down capability for compact needs have been amazing! I would 💯% buy this chair again and highly recommend it for those with mobility issues.”
