These chairs are perfect and look great! Set up and take down couldn't have been any easier! The size, height and sturdiness was exactly what we wanted! We had no trouble seeing over others who were seated in standard camping chairs. The bag that came with it for storage and carrying appeared to be sturdy. When folded for storage, these chairs a longer than standard camping chairs. The chairs are comfortable when in use, no matter how tall you are. We are a tall family. I am the short one, standing at 5'10". We managed to carry them with no problems, however, shorter people may find them more cumbersome.

LOVE this chair!!! It’s extremely comfortable and cradles your body in the best way. Unfortunately, we didn’t take the best care of the first two we purchased….left them out in the hard Florida sun AND rain so they became compromised albeit after several years. Just bought another set. We tried another brand that was a little easier on the wallet but they were not comfortable enough to make the switch. If you’re looking for a tall captains chair, give this brand a try….you won’t be disappointed. Perfect for our outdoor bar!!!

I am a singing, performing artist who is 6‘8“ tall and weighs 275 pounds. After a recent surgery, I have to follow doctor’s orders and keep off of my feet. Shorter chairs are not a good look when sitting on stage, especially while singing. So, I search for and found this chair, because if it’s elevated height. I needed a chair strong enough to handle my size. I was skeptical about this chair and its rating of 300 pounds max. My skepticism came from purchasing other chairs and stools in the past, that were rated up to 400 pounds, which failed miserably. However, this chair is very sturdy and holds my weight with these. It is well-made and sturdy with no shaking or wobbling whatsoever. Time will tell if this chair is durable and long lasting. But for now, I have no concerns about this chair while I’m sitting on it and performing. It has a built-in footrest that is easy to put in place and away after using the chair. Notice I called it a “foot rest”. It is not a footstep, and if you’re using this footrest to get up into the chair, you should NOT be sitting in this chair because it’s too high for you. At 6‘8“ tall, while sitting in this chair, my feet do not touch the floor. I put them on the footrest. Feel free to use that as a reference point if you are sizing up this chair. This chair is supporting my full weight as my feet are not on the floor and it feels strong. Obviously, I would not recommend going beyond the stated weight limit of 300 pounds max. But at 275 pounds, I feel very comfortable in this chair concerning its ability to support my weight, and it is a very comfortable chair to sit in. Getting into an out of this chair is very easy because of its elevated height and it takes the strain off of my knees that occurs when getting up from shorter chairs. The pictures above show me performing at a show this past weekend and I sat in that chair for three hours while performing. I never felt the need to get up due to an issue with comfort. This chair is very easy to set up, and very easy to put away. The only thing I did not like about this chair is that it did not come in the color I wanted, which was black. But I will not take a star away because of that. I give this chair five stars, based on what I know about it, having used this chair in the settings as depicted in the pictures above. I would caution you though, to be careful when putting this chair back into the carry bag. The bag is thin and may tear easily. If you use care in returning the chair back inside of the carry bag, there shouldn’t be a problem. I return the chair into the bag topside first. Bottom line: I would buy this chair again if I needed to.

Just as advertised. This is my second set, having bought a pair years ago. One downside, after some months (on the ones from a few years ago), the pressure on the cloth arms against the metal support wore holes through every arm. It is held by another stronger piece of material inside, so it will not fall off, still, for aesthetics, I put a matching color iron on patch on.

My Wife and I (60s) were looking an adult swing or positioning aid. Most of them connected to a door frame etc and were made from regular webbing and looked uncomfortable for our needs and made mainly for younger folks. The reviews for those consistently stated “not so good for older, heavier people” and “it’s uncomfortable after a time” so I was looking for a more portable alternative at a reasonable price that would help us be more comfortable and adventurous in our pursuit of marital bliss. I ran across this chair and figured if it didn’t work for our intended purpose it would be great for camping as the higher seat level would be easier to get out of than regular folding camp chairs that are low so I bought one. Well, I’m gonna tell you, this is one of the best investments in our love life that we have ever made!! We LOVE THIS CHAIR! I’m 6’4” and the height is just right to get us lined up perfectly for comfortable, carefree engagements. We take it everywhere now! At the beach? Carry it back in the dunes and have up out of the sand, grit free romance. Camping in the woods? Don’t put a blanket on the rocky uncomfortable ground, enjoy each other above the sticks and stones in perfect comfort. Want to have a romp at a group camp event? Carry it to the unisex bathroom and get it on up off the floor in quiet comfort and fashion. Get the urge anywhere you are? Set it up pretty much ANYWHERE! Cup holders hold “accessories”, lubricants, or beers or other party favors. It’s funny and great adult campfire tomfoolery when everyone asks I why we carry this folding directors chair everywhere we go and walk off for an hour or two then come back all smiling and happy. We are still quite active and adventurous and have have used it many, many times now and it shows no signs of fatigue of the tubes or failure of the folding sliding connections or the seat material. It’s very sturdy and holds either her/me(150/200 LBs) scooted down in just the right position comfortably for pretty much any kind of fun for extended periods of time without aggravating arthritic hips and knees and causes no more stress on shoulders and upper arms than leaning on a bar. It is strong and sturdy enough to hold us safely and comfortably during aggressive engagements or gentle, tender embraces on most terrains without feeling rickety or falling over and does not make squeaking or rattling noises to alert others nearby of our activities in more populated environments. The feet are wide enough to not sink into the ground when the hammer is dropping and the seat material is durable and resists stains and is easily cleanable in case of “spills or splashes”. It folds up compactly in a carry bag that’s very useable and has a fairly comfortable shoulder strap for carrying it off into the distance for a fun and pain free romp. Easy to fold and set up in seconds and priced right for its sturdiness and build quality. Open up your horizons of love, add new variety and get adventurous doing mother natures deeds out in mother natures world, have some fun and make some great memories whenever and wherever the moment arises with this chair. You’ll be glad you did. 100!
