    • The wheels and their aluminum supports are very strong.
Reviews for similar hand trucks indicated that their wheels and plastic wheel supports were susceptible to breaking. I took a chance when I bought this 400lb-rated unit, and I was pleasantly surprised as to how beefy the wheels are and how thick the aluminum wheel supports are. Also, these wheels automatically lock into place when the platform is lowered, so that's another advantage over similar models. Whether or not this thing can really haul around 400lbs is something that I'll probably never test. This model is more expensive than others, but I'm glad that I spent the extra money for something that I think is going to last a long time. ... show more
