Love this candle set. The remote works with all eight pieces. The only thing I wish is that they had built in timers. Because they don’t I have to set them every night. I have another set of three embossed candles that I purchased years ago and they come on and go off at the same time each night. These were in great condition and I was hesitant to buy the grey but am glad I did. ... show more

    • Timer only turns off, not a daily on like other candles I have.

I do see now that the listing says it's Non-Cycle, which I'm guessing is their way of saying it doesn't turn on and off every day at the same time like other candle I have that say they have a timer. I wish the description was a little more clear that the timer just turns them off after the allotted time. I had to hunt through the fine print to even see this info so it's a little misleading if you're used to the other style. That being said, they do work well and I will use them, just in a different way that I intended. I wanted them as a sort of nightlight in the spare bath for each night. Since I have to turn them on each time I want to use them, I already ordered another set to do that instead. I will just use them as decor in the living room or something. The timer feature is nice if you only want to use them occasionally and don't want to have to remember to turn them off. They are nice looking, good quality, good candle flicker effect, good options with their remote, and nice to have them come with batteries. The little votive size ones are exactly what I expected. Plastic instead of wax, which it does say in the description. A small switch on the bottom to turn them on and off. Nice brightness too. Overall happy with them, once I got over thinking I was loosing my mind since they didn't turn back on when I expected them to. ... show more

very pretty. All work well. Blue ombre isn't as striking of a color as I wanted but still very pretty. One note, do not place in direct sunlight because they will melt since the outer coating is real wax.

    • Pretty, no auto timer and poor battery life.

I have a lot of similar candles. While these candles did not specifically say that they have automatic on timers that come on at the same time every day, all four other brands of candles that I have do. So I assumed. But they don't, so you have to manually go and turn them on every night if you want them on, which doesn't work for me. The batteries also die twice as fast as any other candles I own, despite the fact that those candles come on every night and these don't Three candles are sparkly and attractive though. I do like them, but will be replacing them and will not buy again because of the the timer issue and battery life. But if you just wanted something pretty to put on a shelf that you don't use much, then they are perfectly fine. ... show more
