I have thinner hair, and it’s curly but with loose ringlets. It’s hard to find something that’s defining without being heavy, but this worked great. With only using a little bit, it doesn’t need to be crunched but my curls don’t stay defined as long. I use a generous amount on wet hair and once my hair is mostly dry, I crunch it a little bit and my curls stay defined, even with moving around all day for work. It also leaves my hair softer than any gel I’ve tried. It seems a little oily and sticky at first, but after drying/crunching there’s zero residue and it doesn’t feel tacky.
