Matches are splintered. The first one I tried to light broke completely in two, which could be quite a hazard if it had lit and fallen to the floor. The second one I tried did light, but was also visibly splintered, so it feels like I was lucky it didn’t break. If you want matches you can use to light candles, this product is not what you’re looking for.
