This is the ideal full cage rack for a home gym. Pros - Small enough footprint for limited space - Can perform all essential lifting motions - Durable frame, quality attachments - Well packed and protected, no visible dents or scuffs - Easy to follow assembly with hardware separated for each step to avoid confusion - A few pulleys were missing bearing covers, emailed support and received replacements in less than a week. Cons - My only criticism is that the rear pulley guides (and cross bar base) should be extended another 6 inches to the rear. You can bench from inside the rack with the top of your bench touching those guides. But you cannot squat from within the rack (to get under the bar, your head is going between the pulley guides). Not a huge problem, squat from the front outside of the rack. You just have remove the J Hooks on the outer rack to move the pulley handles up and down the front posts. Overall, perfect for what I need. I also purchased the Rit Fit Bench Press and the Rit Fit Preach Curl seat. They are of the same high quality material and construction. And super easy to assemble. Would highly recommend.

I purchased this to upgrade my home gym setup on a budget. Initially, I was disappointed to find that the main support bars were bent right out of the box. However, after emailing customer support with photos, they responded within 24 hours and shipped replacement parts that arrived in just three days. Once assembled, the equipment has been fantastic. It is clear that the manufacturer listened to early feedback and made necessary corrections… the upgraded metal pulleys and improved bar attachments are excellent touches. Adding reliable cable resistance has been exactly what I needed to elevate my push and pull days. Highly recommended, especially given their stellar customer service!

As I said in the title, this rack is a great value at ~$700. It gets the job done and I have loved using it. If you are looking for a home gym power rack with a ton of versatility, this is it. Having said that, there are some issues you should be aware of because they might bother you. First, don't expect your rack to arrive unscathed. Several of the pieces of my rack arrived with paint chips from the shipping process. It didn't both me, but it might bother you. Second, the pulleys are not as smooth out of the box as most of the pulleys at commercial gyms. To mostly fix this, I recommend lubricating the pulleys with a silicon-based lubricant. Third, and this is really the biggest issue with the rack...the pulleys on the trolley that you move up and down the uprights have a design flaw. The metal stopper on the cable that interacts with these pulleys rubs on the metal housing for the pulleys every time you pull from below the trolley height. This is pretty annoying and will eventually lead to the paint rubbing off on the housing for the pulleys. I don't really understand how they did not catch that in prototyping, but it is annoying. TLDR: If you need perfect this is not it, but it is good value and will get the job done.

I wanted to wait a couple of months of usage before sending out a review. The systems arrived in two separate boxes. Overall, I was impressed with the packaging. Each component piece of equipment was wrapped tightly and compartmentalized to avoid movement during shipment. Both boxes were damaged during shipment with two large holes but remained secure with no damage inside. Install was a breeze if you use common sense. Don’t depend on the supplied manual. It is not well written and will further confuse you especially when you come to the cable layout. I was able to complete the system in under 2 hours. I found that the cables had a lot of drag when I first used them.I strongly recommend that you spray cable wheels and cables with a WD-40 Specialist DRY Lube (DO NOT USE A WET LUBRICANT) make sure that you wipe all cables and wheels to ensure evenness. Makes a BIG difference in the smooth functionality of the cable system. Overall, the system is a quality fabrication. However, not sure why RITFIT scrimped on plastic cable wheels versus metal. I noticed others had mentioned the same concern in other threads. I plan to change them out for metal ones. I highly recommend the RITFIT system, it is a great addition to my home gym and certainly well worth the money. Now for the negative which is not a fault of RITFIT. The contract shipper is terrible. I happened to be out of town when the shipment arrived. The delivery person offloaded both boxes (about 150lbs each) against the middle of my closed garage door haphazardly with no regard to the weather. I had to call from afar and provide access to two of my amazing neighbors who gratefully secured and muscled them into my garage. I’m very thankful- there could have been a worse outcome. Lessons learned.

The only area I had some minor issues with during assembly was a variance on the angle of the top of one of the four rack support posts. Thankfully, I was able to get the nut started on a bolt and tighten it into place, then loosen to add the washer after everything was snug. One of the pulley mounts was also a bit bent, but that was easily put back in place. Everything operates smoothly and it’s a solid, durable rack. We also had acquired a lot of rack attachments, having used a rack with only a single cable lat pull-down system, and they all fit without issue, including jammer arms and a squat lever bar. Best deal on Amazon for a 2” rack with crossover cable system.
