Rite Farm Products Medium restraining/killing cone. Cones make killing and cleanup easy by restraining the bird during bleeding. Professionally made using proper machines for accurate size. Smooth hemmed top and bottom edges and a proper flat back for correct mounting. Flat back design mounts using 2 points to mount for proper hold on surface rather than hanging by one screw only in the middle. For layers, large layers, broilers, roosters, ducks, and young turkeys up to 10 pounds. Measures 12.5 inches long and 10.25 inches wide at top. Built to last. I really like the design on these. The flat side helps to keep the birds from spinning when you process them. I did underestimate the size when I bought the mediums. It will work, but on some bigger meat birds it's a tight squeeze. Recommend.

Have not used yet, but you can feel how well this is made. The ones I have seen at farm stores are absolutely junk compared to this one! Great price, and amazing product! Also, received it only a few days after ordering, got it quicker than my items shipped from Amazon from the same order.

I processed Cornish cross in these and since the birds are so wide I had to bend the cone to make them fit and it wasn't great. I would highly recommend sizing up for a Cornish cross!! Otherwise easy to clean and install. Good quality for the cost and it shipped quickly!

What I did like. The opening for the head was great, easy to get ahold of the chicken. What I did not like. The wide body of the cone let the chickens get their feet down to their head very easily. In order to overcome this, I had to bend the cones in . It could also be the good feature of having a wide hole for grabbing their heads also gives them easy access to get their feet down there as well. The chickens were approx 4 pds, so this may work well with larger chickens, such as Jersey Giants, or small turkeys. ... show more

We really like this company as it is American made. I bought the xl for Peking ducks and it was TOOO LARGE, but we will still use it for turkeys. So we bought two of these and they worked perfectly as long you were holding the chickens or ducks. The only thing i did not like about them was the shape of the hole it should have been a little wider. and if the chicken is 5 lbs or more you had to hold them or else they would flip out or upside down inside of the cone. ... show more

Harvesting some mean roosters, it was so much easier than the snapping their necks like Grandma did! But she did make it look easy.
