Features

  • Solar Irrigation SystemUsing solar power supply technology, the solar panel can store electricity. You can insert the water sensor probe and water hose into the prepared bucket, set the time and water output, and the system will water the plants automatically without the need for a faucet or fixed power supply.
  • Effective Water SavingEasy to use with 6 timer modes. According to the water demand of the plants, the watering frequency can be selected based on the mode. Additionally, the water output speed of the system can be adjusted. Compared to traditional manual watering, this method is more scientific. The watering flow is about 400ml/min, so please select the number of drippers and the watering frequency according to your actual water demand for the plants.
  • Easy to Install and Use: The solar drip irrigation system is easy to install. You can customize the number of plugs you need, and it only takes a few minutes to install the irrigation system. No tools are required for installation. Here are some warm tips: Before opening the plug, dip the end of the hose in hot water for one minute or use a lighter to heat it. This will make it easier to insert the plug.
  • Automatic Low Water Alarm: The solar drip irrigation kit will beep to remind you to add water when the water level is low or when the sensor probe straws are blocked. Simply add water or clean the probe to unblock it.
  • Complete Set and Versatile: The drip irrigation system kit includes a solar panel, 15m of hose, 15 grounding plugs, drip-stakes, filters, instructions, and T-joints. It is suitable for watering lawns, patios, gardens, vegetables, hanging baskets, potted plants, flower beds, greenhouses, and more. The system provides slow and even water flow, which is beneficial for optimal plant growth.

  • Solar powered drip irrigation system
Pattern Name: Advanced
Have not installed system in our garden but have completed initial checkout and it seems to work as advertised. I had to do some research to figure out what a small hose assembly with a T and a round device was for. This part was not shown in the directions.. This assembly is called a siphon and is connected between the module output port and the output hose. Edit: Installed the drip system in our slightly raised (two 2x6's) community garden to water 5 leaf lettuce seedlings in peat cups now planted in the garden. I had the 5 gal. bucket bottom at the same level as the garden top surface. Set it to water 5 min every 12 hours and had the bucket full of water after the initial pump run and with a cover with some ventilation. The next day the bucket was only about 1/3 full. Fixed a couple of small leaks at two of the drip stakes and refilled the bucket after cycling module power. Next day the bucket was again only 1/3 full. Suspected siphoning even though the siphon part was installed at the module output. Moved the bucket off the raised bed and put it on the ground level and it seems to now be working as expected. ... show more

  • Really Did The Job!
Pattern Name: Advanced
I have a condo and have a fair number of various plants on my balcony. I was going to be away for over a week, and summer temps were upon us. I set this up and my plants did GREAT! I used a plastic bin, filled it with water and put the lid on loosely to slow down evaporation. I didn't lose any of my plants, and in fact, they looked better than when I left! One caution: Each of the spikes waters the same, so it is a good idea to set this up when you have a week or so to test it out and make any adjustments. (It would be nice if they would supply different spikes that deliver different amounts, as not all plants are the same size.) Also, I noticed some overflow on some of my smaller plants, so it's a good idea to add an additional saucer underneath. Overall, it was a brilliant setup and I'm very happy! ... show more

  • Poor quality. Overpriced. Seller promises never met
Pattern Name: Advanced
Very disappointed. You’ll need many for a large area. Poor quality; not worth more than $10! Seller said they would send a larger replacement set; they never did!

  • Easy to use!
Pattern Name: Advanced
I set this up to pull fish tank water into nearby indoor plants. The photo receptors are strong enough to be powered through the window. Easy to control drip rate. It has made one less thing for me to keep track of.

  • A bit complicated

This was a bit of a pain to setup, but once we did it does work rather well.

  • Amazing solar drip system
Pattern Name: Advanced
Solar powered irrigation devices, like pumps, are generally flawed in some way, particularly for sub 20W solar systems. I have like 10 of those, ranging from 2.5 to 25W, so I know the issues. The Risingup Solar drip system has met most of my expectations and works exceptionally well. First, the battery system produces a more consistent result than one dependent on intermittent direct solar power. It will provide greater power than the panel can produce at some instances of time, and be able to power a more powerful pump. Even with the solar panel completely blacked out and covered, it ran with no problem. The system only runs for one or two times a day, so it can use the rest of the time to recharge even with the small size solar panel. On that note, the panel is of quite nice quality, with a sturdy frame and glass cover. The spike fits just right in 1/2" conduit piping. Another thing this system does well is that the pump has plenty of power and lift ability. Even the solar powered pumps rated at 450 GPH usually top out at around 4 ft lift heigh, and that's at max sunshine. They are also generally submersible type pumps. The Risingup system however, has the battery and pump built into the back of the solar panel. This could've been an issue as the best solar panel positioning could be considerably far from the irrigated plants, resulting in loss of water pressure and inability to automatically prime the pump. You would then have to consider the height of your water source comparative to the solar panel and the plants. No such issue here. Even when the solar pump was placed 6 ft up, it self-primed from a 5 gallon bucket on the ground and delivered a steady flow of water near instantly. This was from something like a 1/8" tubing too. Judging from the large amount of water drained from the bucket and the dripping pots, it clearly delivered sufficient water as rated or close to rated. The drip system was easy to assemble, and it came with plenty of tubing if you ever need to readjust. The trickiest part was inserting the blue drip spikes deep enough into the 1/8" tubing without snapping the flimsy spikes. You have to push it in all the way, or it will drip from where the tubing ends rather than down the spike. You just have to use some gently and slow force near the end to push it all the way in. You could also warm it up in some hot water or use soap. The system has 6 modes, 3 for once every 12 hours and 3 for every 24 hours. Each set has units of 5, 15, and 20 minutes of drip time. At the rate these spikes drip, it will use a lot of water at the maximum output of 20 minutes every 12 hours, close to 5 gallons for 10 spikes. The more spikes your system has, the lower the average amount of water delivered per plant, so you have to factor that in. However, that is still a generous amount of water. It may not be enough during sweltering hot days, but it can keep plants alive. I would've liked a once every 3 hrs and 6 hrs setting instead though, for a more distributed watering. It still works amazingly. Overall, this is an excellent solar drip irrigation system for delivering water and nutrients to plants. If you're doing a semi-hydroponic drip system, this will work great, particularly for growing strawberries and Dutch bucket systems. I got several placed around spots further away from a water hose. They also sell add on kits with additional drip stakes and tubing, but you can also add on other generic drip stakes to the system. ... show more

  • Great little kit, but not very durable
Pattern Name: Advanced
I love the idea behind this, however, the pump is under powered, and the control mechanism looks very non-durable. I would be surprised if this unit lasts one season. But it is put together and working as intended.
