I am so thrilled with this collar! The quality is the best I've ever seen. It's nice thick leather with beautiful perfect stitching. I selected the black with red and couldn't be happier. It's nice and padded on the inside. I have a 180 lb Mastiff and the minute I put it on it was really funny because he was wearing it with pride. I didn't really expect him to feel either way about it , but he was definitely feeling good in it. This is a very well made and padded collar. It fits our 80 lb German Shepherd well. The leather is good quality....soft and supple to the touch, but with just enough rigidity to properly hold it's shape. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the fact that it is a bit wide. In my opinion it is about a 1/4" too wide, however that is not a deal breaker. Because the leather is supple and of good quality it "breaks in" quickly and does not bother our beloved dog. No regrets on this purchase.....I would buy it again and at the price point it is a very good value. ... show more

Looks good on my 80lbs Shepherd. The leather is soooo smooth and soft. I'll update this later after she wear and tear, but it seems pretty solid.

I bought this for part of an outfit (for a human), assuming the quality was comparable to the photo. It isn't. Not only is the stitching sloppier and build of the collar weaker, it was dirty right out of the package, staining my hands orange (the kind of inky stain that can't be removed easily from hands or leather). The hardware was also rusted. The quality of the leather is okay, but the cheap glue used to hold it together looks bad. I guess it's suitable for a dog, but I wouldn't put it on any dog with light fur because of the orange stickiness. I'm also sure the rusted hardware right out of the package doesn't bode well for its durability. I can't recommend this product and i'll attempt to return it. ... show more

On a small puppy lead the dog, less than 100 pounds, ripped the D ring through the collar. This is the XL size for an old dog who has gotten a bit fat and needed a new collar. He is well trained and not a puller. The collar only lasted about 6 months before he pulled the D ring off. Contacted seller, who said "Thank you for your email. Our return policy and warranty are for 30 days and in line with Amazon. Your order was placed and fulfilled last year (9/2020) so while we cannot offer a free replacement but can offer your a 40% discount on your next order. This is a great collar. Folks have mentioned it being wide, it is but I love it. Very study and looks great. It does have Vinur etched into the leather. I thought maybe we got one that was custom and returned but then read in the comments someone else received one with Vinur, which is not the brand name of this. Its barely notable and I do not care, but I wish it was mentioned in the description. ... show more

I haven't ran into the other durability problems that some people seem to complain about. The stitching has held together no problem and I appreciate the wider collar so that if my dog pulls against it (He can be a hard puller at times, but he's still young.) that it's not pressuring his trachea too much. The one issue that I've ran into (and the reason not giving 5 stars) is the the leather holding the D ring in place is a little too soft which allows it to occasionally rotate into strange positions. Functionally not too big of an issue, but it's still a mild annoyance. ... show more

I got a fast delivery, however, not the inside color leather that I ordered , I ordered orange , it came neutral, got the lather extremely heavy and heavy hardware....meaning for a small to medium size puppy I got a really a sailor metal buckle. Made in Pakistan , no real attention to detail.... Sorry for my unfriendly review... we must learn to offer customer service and this is not what I expected for my little friend. ... show more
