I bought this Sept 18/2020 Im writing this review Oct 19/2020. Lasted less than 1 month before my 58lb Pit Mix pulled thru the stitches on the D-Ring with one pop! As you can see the outer leather ripped right along the perforations from the stitches. Design Flaw. I guarantee this is not the only time this will happen to someone. The collar itself is great. The construction is flawed. If you look at the way its constructed this outer layer is much thinner standard leather and is literally perforated. Not rocket science. Should be reinforced with kevlar or something IMHO.

I bought this for part of an outfit (for a human), assuming the quality was comparable to the photo. It isn't. Not only is the stitching sloppier and build of the collar weaker, it was dirty right out of the package, staining my hands orange (the kind of inky stain that can't be removed easily from hands or leather). The hardware was also rusted. The quality of the leather is okay, but the cheap glue used to hold it together looks bad. I guess it's suitable for a dog, but I wouldn't put it on any dog with light fur because of the orange stickiness. I'm also sure the rusted hardware right out of the package doesn't bode well for its durability. I can't recommend this product and i'll attempt to return it.

Lasted about 2 months before the D-ring was torn out of it. I could understand if my dog was a leash puller but she isn't at all. The "leather" that holds it in is of very poor quality.

I am so thrilled with this collar! The quality is the best I've ever seen. It's nice thick leather with beautiful perfect stitching. I selected the black with red and couldn't be happier. It's nice and padded on the inside. I have a 180 lb Mastiff and the minute I put it on it was really funny because he was wearing it with pride. I didn't really expect him to feel either way about it , but he was definitely feeling good in it. It's got a wonderful hook on top for the leash and is the best made color I've ever seen

This is a very well made and padded collar. It fits our 80 lb German Shepherd well. The leather is good quality....soft and supple to the touch, but with just enough rigidity to properly hold it's shape. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the fact that it is a bit wide. In my opinion it is about a 1/4" too wide, however that is not a deal breaker. Because the leather is supple and of good quality it "breaks in" quickly and does not bother our beloved dog. No regrets on this purchase.....I would buy it again and at the price point it is a very good value.

Looks good on my 80lbs Shepherd. The leather is soooo smooth and soft. I'll update this later after she wear and tear, but it seems pretty solid.

I have a Neapolitan mastiff, with a pretty thick neck. He's still a puppy so he has a lot of growing to do, but he is 120lbs. This collar is wide! I don't think I would mind as much if it were flexible, but it is pretty stiff. It does have a nice color, but my pup can't freely move his head as it fits more like a brace. It's bizarre. I still have it because the return was going to cost me, and the seller needed to evaluate the item to ensure I would be receiving a full refund minus the return amount. I hadn't damaged the item, and it still looks new, but given that I was already going to be charged for the return, I didn't want to risk losing any more money, and be left without the item. We still have it and may use it in the future if it loosens up a bit. Maybe I'll toss it around and smash it with a meat tenderizer to see if it'll better suit my big guy...Not for us.
