Just recieved today its very heavy but it rolls so that was a relief, the tube is a btch to get right it's extremely difficult to work with and flimsy other than that its nice dont forget to take the little nipple in the back off and attach tube and get a bucket water comes out its easy breezy no problems its working good it's a little noisy but no biggie its a 5 star for me

I purchased a 12,800 BTU unit for a 12x15 bedroom because none of the other room air conditioners I had were ever powerful enough to cool it down. This one works good but it is extremely loud. I can, however, put the fan on low while on cool and it's quieter that way. It works great so far, but we haven't had any extremely hot nights yet either. One problem with it is you have to aim the remote at the front of the unit to get it to work, and that's very inconvenient if you're sitting or laying next to it. The other problem is the lights on it. Everything is lit up with white lights and I have to cover all the lights with black tape or it lights up the entire room at night. When are these people going to learn to make the lights red so it does not affect your night vision! I also don't like that the temperature light never goes out even after it's turned off. So this unit is an electric vampire, sucking power even when you're not using it! This is my 6th portable room air conditioner in 7 years. They definitely don't last long! I hope this one does. At least it comes with a 1-year warranty.

I use this product about every night that it is hot. Excellent for upstairs bedroom above garage. The heat rises during the summer and usually makes the room 85 or above and when this runs it stays a cool 70 in the room.

I picked this up to replace a window unit. It was great for the first 6 weeks. I had the over flow to a 1 gallon jug that rarely had more that a few teaspoons of water in it over night. Then something happened. I woke to a soaked bedroom carpet. Using my carpet cleaned I managed to pull around 3 1/2 gallons of water out of the carpet to begin the drying process. It was set to Air not dehydrate. As I just spent a significant amount of money on this I put it on a old wooden box by the window and ran a drain tube outside. That worked last year. This year using the same set up, it will blow cool air but it does not cool the room down. It takes the edge off but only by a little bit. At best I am getting a 10% cool down and it never gets close to 61. Buyer beware.

When it runs, it's cold. Not super noisy but not silent either. Compressor noise mostly. On fan only it's quiet. What I'm finding is the thermostat is off by at least 4-6 degrees for it to startup. If I have it set at 80 degrees and the room creeps up to 84 degrees, it will not automatically come on. I have to kick it down to 76 to start it up. Once it starts, it seems to cycle kinda correctly. I've only had the unit a week btw. The other thing is the exhaust flexible tubing is super warm. It radiates way to much heat into the room. I will shorten the exhaust tubing and install a different vent to the outside. The vent does not have auto flap, so in the off position, anything can fly or crawl into the vent and flexible tubing. Manufacturer should have thought of that! Until I replace the OEM vent, I've temporarily installed chicken wire outside over the vent exhaust. I've also installed the drain hose, so any water off the condenser exits outside. So, with some modifications and understanding how many degrees I need to set the thermostat on, in order to have the room at my desired temperature, it should be adequate to cool my space. Which btw is a very sealed and tight two car large garage. time will tell how efficient this portable unit is.

Due to the limited space in my apartment I spent a long time selecting an air conditioner. Eventually, I chose this portable air conditioner. It is compact and won't take up much space. It is truly portable with built-in wheels. It also has a fan, and the combination of the fan and air conditioner provides excellent cooling effects. It has a great quiet mode without any noise that would disturb sleep. It can be set on a timer, so there's no need to worry about forgetting to turn it off. Additionally, it can be controlled remotely. I can make my home cool before I arrive by remotely operating it. It's really convenient and reliable. It cool the room so fast. The box is very well protected when I receive it. Great experience to have it so far.
