As someone who has done photography in both my professional and personal life for 25 years, I have purchased hundreds of pieces of photography equipment. This IR-45 Ring Light Set by IVISII is exceptional. While many times the only option is to purchase high quality items a la cart or buy a lesser quality as a set I was so pleased with this set. Every piece in this set is constructed from high quality components and performs beautifully. The light filters, a white softening filter and an orange filter, snap snuggly around the ring light and can be both attached and detached with ease. The set is complete with a standard 1/4” camera mounting bracket, a 1/4” mini ball head mounting bracket and a universal cell phone bracket. I’ve had no problems attaching and detaching all of my equipment repeatedly. The light performs incredibly well. Due to the size, it casts an immense amount of light. The dimmer control knob makes adjusting the light output effortless. Due to the bulbs being LED the light weighs very little, produces no radiant heat and will last a very long time. Unlike many photography sets that include a cheap, poorly made tripod, this set is complete with an excellent, sturdy tripod that will hold up for years. The light and all of its accessories, except the tripod, fit within a great padded, easy to carry, case. The case has padding built into both outer sides and a middle divider. It is complete with heavy duty zippers, handles and an adjustable shoulder strap. If you are looking for a light that will take your photography to another level, look no further. This is a set you are guaranteed to love.

I purchased the 18” option. This is the first ring light I have purchased. I am a professional hairdresser and I also sell items online. This ring light was perfect for what I do!! There are warm and cold light covers for the ring light depending on the type of lighting you are looking for. It was very easy to set up! As far as brightness, I have nothing to compare it to but I will let the pictures speak for themselves. I think it is absolutely outstanding! The highest setting of brightness does hurt your eyes, and I have read so many other reviews on different ring lights claiming they are not bright enough, I can’t imagine this one getting any brighter to be honest! I have two cons: 1. The cellphone holder gave me issues at first, might be my outdated phone ? (iPhone 7s plus) But I found that using my phone sideways fits. It won’t tighten on my phone but it still holds steady and for hours on end without any problems. 2. I don’t know if this is normal, but for this ring light when you adjust the height you have to turn the knobs counter clockwise to open, adjust the bar to your liking, and twist clockwise to tighten. This felt very unstable at first, so I tightened extra tight and said a prayer. So far no issues, but I really wish the bars felt more stable. They don’t wobble but the right light itself is very big and I was afraid it would fall. I hope the tightening action doesn’t scrape and ruin the bars in a short amount of time. I will update my review ASAP if I have any problems but so far I am really enjoying this light! It has upped my game completely! I would recommend this product to a friend.

I will start by saying that this light was exactly as pictured, really easy to set up initially, and functions exactly as described. That said, I was a little bit disappointed in the tone of the white light filter as it is a little bit on the cool side for my taste, and then the Amber sort of filter is a little bit to yellow so you have to make a decision to either have slightly blue light or a little too Golden for my taste. However for the money I feel like if you’re trying to get started on a YouTube channel or take really good well lit, close-up pictures as a amateur or novice, this is a really great intro to ring lights in general. I am also an artist and illustrator and have use this light turned downward towards my workstation to light process videos and speed drawing videos for my YouTube channel with great success, although it is a little bit cumbersome for that use, if you’re wanting a decent all purpose light this light is very inexpensive and can be used Many different ways with varying degrees of success. If you are more of an advanced photographer or YouTube or looking to replace something like the diva ring this probably isn’t the light for you, but if you’re someone trying to get your foot in the door without spending a fortune this is a really good place to start in my opinion. All in all I would say that I recommend this light for certain people, And that I definitely would purchase again for the specific uses I have described.
