It will work fine now. I built a stand for it out of two pieces of 3//4" plate and 6" pipe and bolted it to the concrete. When I started to bolt it to the 3/4" plate I found out the bottom of the vice was not flat. So I had to machine it flat. It is a nice very sturdy vice but be sure to check the flatness of it before you try to bolt it to a table. Or you might break the cast iron it's made of. ... show more
