The exceptional warranty of Rigid Tools. If, for any reasonable reason, the battery fails or the drill fails or the bag fails or the recharger fails, Rigid will replace them for the lifetime of the original purchaser. Rigid tools may seem overpriced but when you consider the exceptional warranty (and that includes all Rigid Tools, they are pretty inexpensive. PS.     • Bad batteries
Like another reviewer on here, I got 2 defective batteries. Everything looks brand new, went on a vacation, now the batteries don't work. Going to bring the drill and batteries to my shop tomorrow to test them with legit charges and drills I bought from home depot.

I ordered on 1/9/23 with an expected delivery date of 1/18/23. To my surprise, it was delivered today, 1/12/23!! Can’t wait to start using it!! There was even a note in the box with a direct cell phone number to ensure their customers are 100% satisfied.

    • Life time warranty not honored by Ridgid
Be aware that Ridgid tools will not honor lifetime warranty if purchased through Amazon. So, if you return this product to seller they will charge you a shipping fee and restock fee. In my case it totaled over $16 off of the refund amount.

As a contractor I’ve used Rigid tools for 20 or mor years and found them to be reliable and affordable.

So not only was my purchase not "new" as advertised, I am now unable to register the tool + batteries with ridgid for the lifetime warranty. I guess in the long run it's no big deal, but it's still misleading and deceptive
